Eh, i guess i should be in this.
WARNING: big long description of danmaku patterns ahead.
I wouldn't mind being a weak boss or a strong midboss......any non spells should be the pinwheel type (swirl danmaku, you've seen it before), with two different colours swirling in two directions (which represents an aspect of my personality). Spell cards can be emotion themed and toast themed. Example: [Melancholy sign] Eternal complaint (spawns a small ball in each corner of playing field, each of which which fire lasers at players current position, while boss fires off large ball danmaku in an alternating one-two pattern, creating something nice looking to zigzag through while dodging the lasers), [Toaster sign] Filament hell (inspired by one of suwako's spellcards. Two vertical laser columns are created on each side of the player, confining their movement as the boss fires off a seriosly beefed up version of their nonspell, now with midsized homing fire) OR (laser columns again, but bullets are fired from the columns themselves at the player while the boss fires off large homing bullets). After each nonspell the swirly danmaku gets beefed up a small bit.
Here is an example of swirly danmaku:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ubt2DKRMz1w&feature=related (it starts around 0:40). Only instead of reversing direction, it continues clockwise, with the second pattern (different color, folks!) goes counter clockwise.
Now increase the spacing so i'm not like an extra boss and graze away.
For character design, eh, blue jeans, black shirt, a hat sort of like tenshi's. Brown hair cut like light yagami's. Add fanciness if you wish, possibly taking inspiration from the shortest yama ever. Personality? I don't acknowledge people the first few "hey there!"s, and after about 3, i go "huh?". I'm comparable to satori in how my dialogue would sound, only not all "har har you will suffer", and no mind reading.
