> Look back to Alice.
> "Thank you again. See you soon."
> Follow Mitsu inside.
>"I will be waiting at the establishment," says Alice with a nod. "I presume you will be back within a day, if not, I shall return home after leaving a message."
>You follow the kappa inside! Her home is, well, a former barn. It is large and open. The floor, however, is a proper floor, and there are cheap paper screens set up to create the illusion of rooms. What you can see, as she leads you past them, are some rather disorganized living spaces that have clearly had a last-minute clean-up; you've had new maids try to pull this trick before. Slightly looming over the screens is a large grayish thing, which Mitsu leads you toward. it rests in an open space that takes up perhaps 60%of the barn, a long, sleek machine with two outstretched wings and a curious tail, some yards long from end to end. It's body is a patchwork of metallic plates, shaped very precisely and seemingly replaced as needs be. It emits a low humming noise.
>"Climb into the back seat," Mitsu says, pointing toward a ladder near one end of the thing. "Um, there's a bunch of restraints in there and you'll wanna put them on, just loop them around the pegs on the opposite side." She then moves to pull on a chain near the wall, which is connected to a complicated set of pulls overhead, and raises a door on the far side of the barn.
