>Nod. "Well, I wouldn't be paid until after it's done, so it wouldn't do to go to all this effort making a deal, and then take a task I'm not going to end up completing."
>"Whether you believe me or not on the other matter, I'm not planning on staying in this time period, and would like to go home as soon as possible. Since this is the last item I need, I can assure you any task would have my full and immediate attention."

>She nods. "Alright, here's the deal. Give me something worth at least a thousand mon, or just the money itself, and you'll have your coin. If it's something of actual historical interest, though, don't worry about the price tag. It'd all just go into the acquisitions budget, so skipping to the point is just as good."

<mauvecow> see this is how evil works in reality, it just wears you down with bureaucracy until you don't care anymore

> "I plan on returning to True Glorian, the new location in which the director is interested, later today. If possible, I plan on taking that flying chariot machine operated by the kappa in the far northern part of town, so as to expedite the process. Space is limited for ones such as us, but it would be no trouble to bring a kobito passenger or two, if the director wishes to investigate sooner rather than later."

I am proposing we get Nue/Kay out of the way now, because we have no idea how long we're going to spend in Haihan. (Coming back here after getting Nue should give the temple services time to complete as well, which'll get us Ichirin's autograph.)

EDIT: Though I'd like to stop at the Netherworld first. Time has healed a fair number of wounds; it will be interesting to see how our deepest had fared.

> "Anyway, I will be sure to stop by and find if she has made a decision before I depart for True Glorian. I have, at the very least, a stop to make at Apex first."
