People are gonna make an effort to get anyone other than Brady the nod, but there's no one left who really deserves it unless they somehow manage to give it to a defensive player (CALAIS CAMPBELL JALEN RAMSEY AJ BOUYE YANNICK NGAKOUE COUGH).  Anyway yeah Brady has it in the bag.

However, any DPOTY award that is not given to a Jaguar this year is utterly invalid.  People keep saying Bobby Wagner and I'm like... this dude would be maybe the 5th best player on our defense at best.

Considering the NFL has to approve placing players on IR and the fact that the NFL is refusing to comment and directing all questions about it to GB, yes. It's the same rule (and punishment) that gets ignored when hurt veterans are placed on IR at the end of the year to evaluate younger players. "Multiple Teams" (aka Bears/Vikings/Lions) are making a stink because it's Aaron Rodgers, not that they care the rule is being broken.

Also, I'm Godger Roodell, not Roger Goodell, obv.

Yeah, the joke is that the rule is being broken but the NFL will never, ever enforce it for any player that matters.  Maybe GB gets fined but I doubt it.
