GRUMPY POST-SCRATCH TROLLS with pre-scratch humans we're having CHEERY PRE-SCRATCH TROLLS with post-scratch humans. And apparently the prescratch trolls (at least one of them) is aware of all these weird shenanigans. All of them.

basically the very first thing the troll says is the most important ( http://puu.sh/8J45 ).

This is a huge hint that this human session will finally make a completely successful universe unlike the failed pre-scratch sessions of each race, and unlike the troll's "cancerous" one that gets DESTROYYEEDDD, but we could sort of assume that was going to happen anyway. And also makes me assume that both sets of trolls/humans basically take a turn being eachother's paradox-clone parent thing between each scratched session.

Well the main huge story plot we don't know yet is more around Lord English and Jack anyway.

We can't really generalize from UU to the other trolls in the post-scratch universe, since all the trolls we've seen thus far (ancestors and descendants) are clearly associated with one of the 12 zodiac. This new one is an anomaly. Unless of course, the Signless's true sign is Ophiuchus, and UU is indeed Karkat-cestor after all.

Though, all of this has made me wonder what state the troll universe is in for the post-scratch Kid timeline.. Pre-scratch? Post-scratch? Something else entirely?

The way space-time works in this comic makes it entirely possible.

For them to be interacting with prescratch trolls right now only makes complete sense (And the "cheering" thing fits in to that perfectly) so I just assumed that's what it was.

tbh I pretty much feel like it's a Sorry I Thought That Was Obvious sort of thing given everything that was said (cheering, 4 universe instances, they're having a game of sburb, switching to kid guardian's game, etc)

I have the bad feeling that Bizarro Karkat (UU) is going to be the inverse of Karkat more than just superficially.. I.E. starting off pleasant and helpful, but gradually turning out to be scumbag as Jane finds out more about what s/he's actually like.

I'm going to go out on a limb and speculate that Young Bro Strider will have no affinity for puppets of any kind, because *maybe* in this iteration of the timeline his paradox baby was paired with Maplehoof instead of Lil Cal. Which would explain an affinity for ponies instead of puppets.
