Yeah I can't buy Vriska as a character at all. Nothing has happened to her to actually cause her to suddenly develop a conscience, she just has one for no reason now. Along with all that random shit being attributed to her trying to make her out to be some kind of mastermind when it's obvious she's not from her personal interactions, she's a really poorly written character.

I think she always had a conscience, it's just been buried under layers of societal expectations and blood on her hands. John's also probably the only person who's ever been unconditionally nice to her, so she's kinda flaking out.

That said, all this crap she's writing basically guarantees she's permanently dead. <_<

We can hope. I mean Hussie got his little sidetour to show how 'TOTALLY BADASS AND AWESOME' vriska is being able to take bec noir (still do not buy that either), so it's technically possible!

We've seen her writing bits of it here and there. It was very likely all written before Terezi showed up.

this has been implied since the beginning. Since ya'know, she didn't kill Tavros off the bat: this is the action that would have been perfectly acceptable in troll society. She just ended up killing him later when he came to kill her.

gamzee is going to kill sollux by the way. We know Terezi/Karkat are 'safe', but that doesn't go for the rest of the trolls. I presume the crying karkat + zillyhoo scene hasn't happened yet.

Vriska's conscience is a recent development. Tavros was spared earlier more due to Kisemsitude than any attack of morals; recall that Vriska had been using Kanaya to make that dress for ages. And she was well aware of Kanaya's feelings; given some of the things she's said.

Vriska is mostly just in the process of breaking down after all the shit she's been through. Chances are, talking with Hunams sparked the idea that maybe she was just fucked up.
