>You pass over the plains and the human village. You continue past the Dragon Palace and the Hinanai Shrine. In the distance past them, you sometimes think you can just get a glimpse of the entrance to the Hakugyokurou. You keep an idly eye out for the Prismriver Manor, but can't quite make it out. You do notice, however, the island from which you're certain the celestials visiting it must have come from. Below, the road fades away into a small forest. Past this forest, you can see the river up ahead, at the end of a grassy plain. You can pick out dock easily enough among the lack of features, as well as the distance form of someone sitting there.

>"Oh my," says Komachi, frowning a bit. "Well, I guess I can't turn down the Messenger..."

>Komachi nods, then looks down to the cat again and starts to shoo it away. "Go on, now. Get back south where you belong, before Pochi makes a snack out of you."
>You hear a low rumble from the river, and a quantity of bubbles rises from the water beyond the pier. Komachi looks back and frowns. "No you can't have it! It's not even lunch time yet, you big dumb thing!"
>The cat leaps from Komachi's lap and trots off toward the plain. Standing up, Komachi stretches, then pulls out a disc from her dress pocket. She clutches it in her hand tightly and says, "Hey, Eiki, the Messenger of the Dragon Palace wants to see you."
>After a moment, Komachi nods. She then pockets the disc and looks at you. "The Yama'll be here shortly. In the meantime, I better get the next shipment ready."
