>How about leave and order Mumbai to free Tear? Unless it would be too obvious and Mumbai is too visible for them. If they didn't notice Mumbai at all, would our war doll be able to pull this thing off?
>How does asking Marisa or Alice for help sound like?

>Either way! "Fair enough" Bow and leave. We do NOT want a war with the village.

My plan was to buy time as the defense, and bust her out overnight. Also, I think Mumbai is a defense drone. That said, worse comes to worst, Mumbai means we can do fun drastic stuff like break the mayor's nose.

I think the trick is going to be to appeal right to the people. Because if we can't solid snake this; and if they don't wait until the end of the day, we don't have much of a chance to solid snake it; we're going to have to convince the people at large to spare her and turn on the mayor.

roll a dice, toss a coin... I don't know. Don't they want to execute her in some way RIGHT now?

From what it seems, we have a little bit of time. But not enough to do any real sneaking in the way of finding the key and stuff. If we let ourselves get thrown out, we're pretty much going to have to storm the place or pull out the public speaking skills; and taming an angry mob is gonna be a hell of a trick.

Alternately, we could leave, hide, wait for the kangaroo court to begin, and do a dramatic reveal, and try to calm the crowd that way. It'd at least put them in a setting where they have to listen to us.

I do believe the little Kirisame witch ain't on good terms with the village and she wouldn't mind a little wrecking on her own.

Also they said : >"He took many objects from the village. Not to mention striking fear into the hearts of the villagers."
>"Defence? That's for people who have a chance at innocence. Not to mention that no one will defend this thief."
>"There are dozens of eyewitnesses that saw the crimes occur. He'll be gone before sunset tonight at the latest."

That means we do not have time for a night sneaking as they want to execute her right now.
I don't see any other way then: a) wreck our status in the village.
b) ask someone powerful and hated around here to wreck it all for us.

We can't ask Keine, because we commit a fraud. It's kinda hardish... Ok, Purvis, I can give you a free hand here, but mind what I just told. Staying here will just make us locked up and lose the reward as well.

I"m thinking, if we can sway the populace, we can save our status and get away with things.

That said, might not be a bad idea to hide the money first. They can't take what they can't find.

Good idea. run and hide the cash quick, then return... But what next?

...
MAYBE LET'S ASK KEINE. Ask her that she make Tear have a proper trial and such. To prolong her captivity so that we can rescue her later.

Yeah, that might be the best idea, as far as time buying goes. Which is going to involve confessing and such. And maybe a little bribe...

So do we want to violence the mayor on the way out? =D?

No. The village might still be a good place for our merchant deals.

so!
do we decide on such a version:
1. We leave the mayor.
2. We find Kaine.
3. We say that it is unjust that the thief doesn't have a fair court.
4. We wait for her just judgment and prolong the execution
5. We run away from the village and hide the gold.
6. We come back at night to save tear.

That's fine?

Quick question, what if the mayor will reduce her sentence if we just find all the stuff she stole and give it back?  Of course I guess that all depends on if she still has all of it and if the mayor is done being a jerk.

You are aware that includes stealing the broom from Mokou and all the SDM stuff,... I prefer to fight the whole village then that.

To be fair, we didn't do anything sinister at the SDM. That said...Keine knows who the thief is. So she is going to know we're running a con game; if nothing else she will very quickly learn it was us that turned Tear in.

Alright. The plan is this: Leave. Hide money somewhere in town. Approach Keine. Try to weasel out of returning the money if necessary. Get her to delay things. Ninja this shit up come nightfall.

Fake Edit: Huh. Could do. Regardless, the first few steps are the same.

>"I suppose I have my reward. And may you get your own."
>Depart.
>Consider terrain, both in town and out of town. Do we know if any good hiding spots?
