Eh, not sure about that. Maybe in the sense that it's a mostly female cast. But Kuragehime is about the nature of beauty; what makes a person beautiful. It deals frankly with sexuality and gender roles without being snide or infantile. And it also has a very charming central cast of nerdy girls who break gender stereotypes. It's intelligently and humorously written.

Just my humble opinion.

I don't know about you guys, but I found the ending to Katanagatari extremely satisfying.

I rate Kuragehime as like how I rate Machimawateru, it is a silent hit on all sides, and it doesn't necessarily win, but it can.

Oreimo comes almost to an end, and I am disappointed it never got to the novels part, where Ruri starts dating.... you know who.

How is it? I wanted to watch it but the main character turns me off. 

Favorite show of the season by a nose. In terms of the main characters, Tsukimi is almost a new personal favorite, though Kuranosuke (now a new Pad-chou) is hard to get used to and the crossdressing has nothing to do with it.

I feel bad for Shu. Nearly 20 years of fearing women and then he gets blackmailed by one for naughty stuff he had no involvement in. Also, another cute girl with a strange fixation. Jiji-sama and her old guys. It's not quite as oddly frustrating as Ohno and bald guys, but whatever.

I don't know how to feel about this. On part of me says "the designs look really crappy, this is gonna suck". Another says"not to judge a book by it's cover, the staff seems okay." Somewhere, I just annoyed at their treatment of 5Ds and abrupt ending of the Yugioh Gx manga.

I don't get it if the main character is not present in a new series. What's the point of continuing it if Yugi ain't there?

Advertising the card game I guess. 5Ds wasn't half bad though(many say it's the best out of the 3, I heavily reccomend episodes 1-65.) However as things went on, the advertising became too blatant, even for a merchandising anime like 5Ds.It's okay right now, but I just feel that it would be so easy for them to do so much better.

The latest episode of Sore Machi was pretty flawless. The "prayer" that began and ended the episode reminded me so much of a younger version of myself.

Watched the first episode of Kuragehime. I have no comment as for now, other than it's kinda weird and the girl in the green tracksuit is eccentric as fuck and the girl with glasses likes.... old men.

Due to my lack of consistent internet, the only thing this season I have seen is Kuragehime, which Funimation streams on its Youtube channel....most of what I see these days is stuff I buy.

Although, I'll definitely be buying Kuragehime. Gotta support the shows I love BV

SKIP THE SPOILERS: If they did a second season, it'll have to be longer and contain more of the plot than just what it has done so far in order to keep it going. Don't get me wrong, I like the show and I just want to give Shiori a gigantic hug (she's my favorite btw). It's just that any deviation or skipping over (for the most part) would take away from the already-great storyline that the manga follows.

Also, on the topic of World God, I like the fact that they didn't really shy from the manga a lot.  I'm pretty sure even that filler episode was from the manga.

Just finished Kuragehime ep. 9. I think things are coming to a head with Shu's lady troubles. The exposure may very well end up hurting that awful land shark. I hope he decides a spine would be a good idea and comes up with some cerebral form of vengeance in order to spook her out of her extortion plans.  Not gonna happen, but I'd love to see it. That harpy has scarred poor Tsukimi, too.

Also, Jiji-sama really is a pervert for old men. Like, 60's+ old. Bluh. I watch some stuff and it turns me off because of weird stuff like this, but old men? BLUH.
