>"Rock?"
>Try to scrabble out of the way of the incoming voice as quickly as possible and turn to face it

>You say rock. Then something heavy slams into your back!
>You are forced to the ground, thankfully not near any fissures, something heavy and round perched on the small of your back. You feel hands reaching into your pockets, while a feminine voice gives a dry chuckle.

>Try rolling over to knock the thing on our back off
>Try to reach one of our arms out to grab the arm reaching into our pockets

>You try to roll, but seem to be too well pinned for this to work.
>You reach back and grab a thin arm with a loose sleeve around it. "Oy, cut that out!" your assailant says, jerking against your grip.

>You hold on. She tugs a bit more fiercely, but you think you got it.

>"That's my moniker, alright."

>How do you propose to leglock her when she is currently on your back?

>"Oh, wow, a whole 5☼. Yeah, sure is worth attacking someone for that."

>"Enough to get something to eat on," she says.

>Stand up, if we can now, and get a look at Kisume

>"Yeah, well..."

>You get to your feet, and get a look at Kisume.
>She is hovering a few yards away, over some of the fissures. For the first time since you got here, and hopefully the only time, you are glad Renko is not here. You just got mugged by a little girl in a bucket. Well, maybe she's a small adolescent, but the fact remains. Renko would never, ever let you live that down if she had seen it. Kisume herself really doesn't look all that threatening, being a small thin girl with green hair pulled into ponytails and sitting in a bucket. She is rather dirty, though.
>"Only a dummy goes through the geyser," she continues, looking you over, "And you're lookin' in pretty good shape for it."

>"So, uh, can you point me the direction to the village where humans live? I'm kinda lost..."

>"If you don't know, do you suppose Yamame would know? I heard she lives near to the surface. I'd meet her if I keep on going this route, right?"

>"Oh, sure. Just keep going the way you're going, and you'll hit topside. After that, you're on your own.
>"Yep, she lives up by the way out."

>Really, what IS the proper farewell for someone who mugged you, and then gave you directions?
>Continue out of the cave

>"Kay," she says, flying off.
>You get the feeling she doesn't know, either.
>You keep going.  Soon you leave the fissure-laden area, and the tunnel is relatively smooth for awhile. Then the tunnel forks. One branch goes Southeast and levels off, the other goes west, and continues to climb. The walls here are damp, and have a quantity of moss growing on them. Obvious exits are North, Southeast, and West.

>You keep moving onward. It is definitely getting stronger, and you're pretty sure the source is up ahead. You note the walls are flaring out, while floor is starting to decline.
