I haven't watched this myself but I've heard that while the start of the anime isn't too good, it's a great example of how shows can get better over time.

Anyway what I'm watching should probably go here. Right now I'm trying to finish watching things I started with aalllllll the way back in Winter, as well as Kimi ni Todoke and Railgun too. Well this is what happens when I try to take a break from anime.  :derp:

I actually quite like it, but then again I'm up to episode 12 and I've got no idea how they're going to fill the next half of it without it being even slower paced than it already is. It could just go horribly wrong here.
No matter what I thought of it anyway I'd still watch it though. I have kind of a "rule" about not leaving an anime unwatched no matter how bad I think it is, which is why I'm still stuck watching The Sacred Blacksmith and Ookami Kakushi too.

...In all seriousness, if you like anime, watch it.  It pretty much parodies everything about the medium, so it's kind of a must see for otaku.

MAHOOOOOOOOOO! XD I recently found the manga...I've only seen the anime, but I think I actually PREFER the anime...I found myself laughing more with the anime.

As for characters...I love Himeko, Rei (mostly because she's hot), and of course, Becky~ X3

much like the suggestion of Excel Saga: this is worth another re watch.

it is the one full set anime DVD I never actually regretted buying. It comes with a mini-mechazawa-kun.

I'm actually watching it right now, up to episode 20. Meh. I honestly don't think it's that great. I've read the manga before I started watching the anime, and it kicks ass. But, the anime is kinda mediocre, IMO. I have to force myself through it, really.
