Hello all! Hope you're all enjoying your summers (or winters perhaps) so far.

With all the free time we have I'm wondering if anyone's interested in collaborative projects for the summer? Here are a few of my ideas. Feel free to pitch your own.

- I've been thinking of extending our activities to other boards like Patchouli's Library or Rumia's Party Games by offering to illustrate scenes in their stories. I think it would help us get more exposure to the rest of the forum and even places beyond such as FFN where the PSL folk post their stories. It would also help generate traffic to our board. Perhaps this summer might be a good time to pilot this idea. I've been wanting to find out your thoughts on this. Good idea? Bad idea? Room for improvement? I would really appreciate your thoughts.

- a collaborative doujin/picture story telling game might be fun. Nothing serious, just a fun exercise. Thoughts?

AFAIK Ushwood translates directly from Japanese.

On a totally unrelated note.
As somebody may have noticed, I also actively post in sos-dan.ru (it's totally Russian, yeah). Among active threads on this forum exists a "general art thread" (googletranslate works surprisingly fine with it), where members may post, well, pictures with art.
I am going to build several art-packs with works of you MotK members, currently I'm thinking about Freeze-Ex, Aoshi, Merp and Formless. The reason why I wrote this post is to hear you opinion. Maybe someone will forbid me to post his/her works. Maybe someone will want me to include him/her too. Maybe you will give me directions on which pics you want to show and which ones you don't.
I'll wait some time before posting on sos-dan.ru, so if somebody refuses to show his art I won't regret posting them.
Of course, I will write your name and give link to your thread here, if you won't say to do other way.

I think I'm the only Western Touhou artist on the Internet who didn't get in the AWA scroll project (found out too late to sign up -- SO. JEALOUS.), so it'd be nice to find a way to get into the art scene here and chat with other artists and work on big projects.

don't worry you weren't the only one, found out too late to join it myself and even then my art skills suck too much anyway so I wouldn't have been able to join regardless.

At any rate, recently when I've been trying to draw anything it just comes out wrong, even when I use the stick figure method, the box method and so on, nothing works and it's REALLY frustrating me in more ways than one, any ideas to help with this art slump?
