You are Rin Satsuki. Unknown Kirin from the land of fantasy: Gensokyo. Also perfect stalker and a very knowledgeable person of the happenings in this land!
This morning, you woke up in what apparently is a Gensokyo where things aren't as they originally were. This has made you wonder if you ended in some kind of parallel world in the worst case.
Meeting with a strange but attractive devil, Marisa Kirisame took care of you after she found you out semi-dead near her house. With your erhu destroyed, a visit was paid to Rinnosuke Morichika, whom supposedly could repair it. However, in all of this a beautiful woman came into scene: Sashiromiya no Niko. This strange woman, with the help of a strange four-legged creature named Fou, solved the matter of the erhu. Taking off to her house at the Human Village after you are told that the erhu belonged to her family, Niko lets you stay whenever you want at her house which honestly should be called mansion, but... if you so desire.
Departing from there and to the Bamboo Forest of the Lost when stalking Keine, you talk with her and Sanae, finding out that the former isnt' the teacher of the school at the Human Village. Furthermore, there is no school there! But there is a school in the Fukkatsu Village.
After this and seeing how a group of fairies, which had the Fairies of Light between them, mess up with Mystia's stand, you take cards for this matter and deal with it, scaring them off. Then, an upset Mystia arrives, and after convincing her you did nothing bad to the stand, you go for Suika's help at the Hakurei Shrine so you can fix the stand.
And there, you find out that Reimu, who has been missing, actually got her body destroyed when she saved you from YuugenMagan. Things happened and she wants to keep herself hidden from everyone until her new body is ready. She requests you to investigate about the weird differences of Gensokyo...
