Youmu's voice for Hisoutensoku

My friend EST and I have been working on a Youmu's voice patch for Touhou Hisoutensoku (she contributed her voice and I put the voice patch together). Although EST is not a big fan of the franchise, but she has a lot of passion for the character.

The creator's name is 旧作(Kyuusaku), he created the voice system for the game about a year ago. However, he couldn't manage to find an actress to do Youmu's voice until I stepped in recently  : P

We are currently  working on renewing the whole voice system . The upgrade version will be released on September.

Oh god, yes. I refused to download the patch mainly because Youmu's yukkuri voice. I might consider getting it now.  :3

Now if only the other sucky voices could get patched...Mainly Aya's squeaky voice. God, is that thing annoying.

I correct myself. Somehow I confused Remilia's voice for Aya's.  :V

I like to think Remi's got one of those elegant, gothic lolita princess kind of voice. *coughrachelalucardcough*

I'm actually glad you're doing this.

I was looking hard on 2ch boards for someone who did something about that awful voice.

I found one... but, like you said on my video, it's freaking generic because it was on a site that had general use voices.


Thank GOODNESS you and your friend are doing this. Looking forward to using it for a redo on my Hisouten/Hisoutensoku Spell Card Exhibition.

The crashing was fixed in the latest voice mod program. Click on the wiki page, I added the link to the newest one there a long time ago

Project Youmu Beta --- Youmu's voice pack 98% complete (The voice actor is not satisfied with few of the voices, but she is not able to re-record them until next month. )

Tere.wav --- Sound effect for spell card finish (use: put it into the "sys" folder)

I suggest you go ahead and use this version, because I'm not very sure when Est will be back from her trip.  :ohdear:

Besides, the lines she plans to re-record/add are not that important.  :V
