Pesco beamed, raising her veil, closing her eyes and melting as her sweetheart drew her into his arms and his warm, relentless lips pressed against hers in a long, dreamy kiss that lasted an eternity. But the gasps of horror from the crowd told her something was wrong. Confused, Pesco opened her eyes and saw... what is this?! Edible was on the floor? No, it was an Edible suit, unzipped and discarded, but where was Edible? The person still holding her chuckled, his deep serpent eyes glistening with amusement. His prize beholden to him at last, Bardiche carried the horrified Pesco out of the church and into the awaiting limo, confetti and rice thrown in celebration of his deed.
