Man, I would've killed to have marching bells when I was in marching band. I was in The Pit, instead, although that wasn't too bad. I don't know if I would've been able to handle playing and marching at the same time though.

I want to buy a marimba or vibraphone but they are so stinkin' expensive and I don't think I'd have the motivation to practice. Reading music is a pain; I'd rather smash rectangles/hamburgers in IIDX or Pop'n or DrumMania.

Looking back, being in the pit in marching band would have been infinitely superior to where I was as an alto saxophone player.

Then again, I hated marching band, and quit band in general because of it (at my school, it was mandatory because our conductor was a dick with major ego issues).

Anyone want to buy an alto sax, hasn't been touched for more than 4 years? =<
