>You are Toyosatomimi no Miko AND Youmo Konpaku, and you've both been through a lot of trouble today.
>The day started innocuously with a looming mah-jong tournament arranged by Yukari, but went quickly off the rails as Seiga set a plan into motion to place a descendant of the region's old and defunct aristocracy in firm control of the human population. Both of you were drawn into this, Miko via having her sword stolen and Youmu via the Saigyou Ayakashi's essence being taken, and have ended up working together to solve various aspects of this incident and bring it to a reasonably satisfactory close. At this point, all that is really left is to deal with Yoshika, who is currently buried up to her neck in one of Hakugyokurou's gardens thanks to Yukari.
>Another issue that came up after the immediate thread had been deal with involved Miko purchasing a key that had laid long untouched in Kourindou. Learning from Hina that it had a doom upon it, Miko sought to find what it was made to unlock. After much searching, and some help from Futo, she found a metallic plate with an indentation for the key, and used it, unleashing a serpentine behemoth of black scales and purple energy that was visible from some distance away. She managed to vanquish the behemoth, but not without taking considerable injury. Reuniting with Youmu, who had gone to take care of personal matters, but was drawn back by seeing the behemoth, the two of you decided to go to Eientei to seek help and tie up some loose ends.
>Along the way, Kotohime, who had been travelling with Youmu for much of the day now, seemed to suddenly panic and flee close to the edge of the Bamboo Forest. Youmu was able catch her, and she collapsed into a weeping mess. The question of what to do with her has not been resolved, as Miko watches from a distance, while Futo observes more closely.
Youmu:
>Then use our ghost half to distract her while we say that to Futo. If it doesn't work either just say it anyways.
>Youmu: You try to distract her a little, but it does not work. She is just too far into her breakdown at the moment. So you ask Futo to inquire about Kotohime with the residents of Eientei on your behalf. You can feel Her stiffen and freeze against you as you do, then her sobs resume with renewed vigor.
>Futo frowns at this display, then nods. "It shall be done."
