>The two of you continue flying towards Eientei. After several, uninterrupted minutes of flight you finally reach the snow-covered edge of the Bamboo Forest of the Lost. There height of the snow cover varies quite a bit here, it's rather flat, you'd estimate a few feet in some spots, while at the other extreme are some impressive drifts high enough to bury half of a bamboo stalk. The snowfall has definitely worsened as well. It's not heavy enough to reduce your ability to see yet, but it's quite apparent that this will develop into a full-blown blizzard, and soon...
>The temperature is starting to drop, too. You can start to feel cold seeping through your winter gear.

>The bamboo definitely blocks the wind chill a tiny bit, but it doesn't provide much relief. As you continue onward, visibility gradually begins to drop. Pretty soon, it becomes as bad as it was when you were at the Hakurei Shrine earlier. Luckily you do manage to run into an occasional, snow-covered sign, pointing in the direction you need to go.
>"Hey. Who's that?" You hear Koishi ask after a few more minutes of flying in the blizzard.

>The silhouette looks like a human or youkai, by the shape of it. You can't make out any more details at this distance. It's slowly trudging along in the harsh blizzard. However, after several steps, the silhouette appears to collapse in the snow.

>You fly through Eientei's entrance and enter the main courtyard. Well, technically it's not a true courtyard in the sense that it's completely open on one side. Lining the sides of the courtyard are long buildings with wide porches that run down their lengths. On a normal day, if you were to come here, you would see dozens of rabbit youkai vigorously pounding mochi and socializing among themselves on and near these porches. However, today, everything is quiet. Nobody seems to be around. Up ahead, on the other side of the courtyard, and connected to the long buildings is the silhouette of the main building, where Eirin Yagokoro's pharmacy/infirmary is located.

>It feels quite relieving to be out of the wind chill, but it's still quite cold in here.

>The whole place is packed with rabbits, all trying to find some means of warmth. You see some of them with blankets, while others are packed into tight groups, trying to huddle around what appear to be fire pits, there are also rabbits that are either trying to steal the blankets of their neighbors or trying to forcibly shove their way into the huddles, only to be stopped by a few rabbits whose only purpose is to prevent the whole room from erupting into chaos.
>At the back of the room, is a doorway, and next to it is a counter. Sitting behind the counter is a very bored looking rabbit that you recognize as Tewi Inaba, the "leader" of Eientei's earth rabbits. It's an unusual sight, since normally, if you were to come here, the moon rabbit Reisen Udongein Inaba would be sitting there.

>"Well this door is never locked. It's open 24/7. There's no need for manners at this door... You're weird." The rabbit that let you in snarks before walking to the nearest huddle.
