>What are the titles of the haphazardly-replaced books?
>As you pass the books you examine them read their titles.
>The first book, a thick one with a red cover, reads "Encyclopedia of Arcane Artifacts"
>The second book, about ten books down from the first one, is lying slanted in the shelf, whatever book occupied the space next to it is gone. The second book's title reads "A Field Guide to Tsukumogami and Their Subtypes"
>The third book you come across, also lying slanted, has a bright yellow and black cover and reads "Basic Alchemy and Rituals for Morons"
>The fourth book juts out about an inch from the shelf. Whoever put it back on the shelf clearly was too lazy to place it in all the way. What's interesting about this one is that, looking into the space between the top of the book and the shelf above it, you spot a few yellow pieces of paper emerging from the top near the center of the pages. This one is titled "On Magic Dolls, Their Forms, and Other Magical Automatons"

>Snoop around in the doll book. It may come in handy when dealing with Medicine. Just be careful with the pages.
>You pause, take the book out of the shelf, and begin carefully skimming through the pages.
>The first few chapters appear to be just about how to create and use a magical doll. After skimming some more, you eventually arrive at the spot where the yellow pieces of paper stick out of the book. You now realize that these are actually sticky notes, and written on them are some odd annotations and a bunch of equations of some sort that you can't decipher... The title of this section of the book reads "Doll Independence".
>"Why are you reading?!" you hear Kaguya ask, "I thought we were here to get some containers!"

>To Kaguya, "Oi, you. Have you got any idea what these things are?" Point to the sticky notes, dodge her question.
>Take note of the first and third books as well, and pick them up. We may need them later on.

>"Huh?!?" Kaguya replies, taking a look at the notes, "Well, uh, I dunno. Equations I guess... And you still haven't told me why you're stopping to read some stupid book while we could be getting some containers and leaving right now!"

>Take note of the first and third books as well, and pick them up. We may need them later on.
>You close the book and backtrack down the aisle to grab the books titled Encyclopedia of Arcane Artifacts and Basic Alchemy and Rituals for Morons, you tuck the two books under the other books so you are carrying them as a stack.
>"Oh, come on!" Kaguya protests, "Are you going to waste time browsing now!? We, and by we I mostly mean you, have more important things to do!"

>note to self: ask Patchouli if we can borrow them. We aren't a thief, at least today.
>You mentally remind yourself to ask Patchouli before leaving the library with the books. You wouldn't want to give her the wrong idea.

>Be prepared to catch falling books just in case.
>Before doing anything, you set the books you are currently carrying on the floor and prepare for falling books.

>Say hi, trying not to startle her.
>"Huh? Whaa-!!" Koakuma responds as she loses her balance, causing about half the stack of books she was carrying to cascade towards the ground. Thankfully, she unfolds her wings and manages to stop herself from tumbling down after them at the last second. It appears that despite your best efforts, you startled her.

>Jumping into action, you swiftly manage to catch two of the falling books before a third one pelts you square in the face, knocking you to the ground!
>You hear Kaguya begin to burst into a stream of laughter, punctuated by an "Oof!" indicating that she may have been smacked by one of the books as well.
>The rest of the books rain down around the two of you, a couple of them land on you.

>Ask if she can point us to Patchouli.
>You're a bit too dazed from the collision to ask anything, for the moment...

I'm giving this game 48 hours before I declare it dead from lack of participation and move on to a new, better idea. If you want this game to continue, I suggest you reply within that time frame.

>"Argh, so many books. How do you carry them all at once and still fly?"
>"Simple. I just don't fly with them. Why else would I be using a stepladder?" Koakuma replies as she sets down the rest of her stack and descends the ladder.
>"Do you need me to help you off the floor?"  she asks as she extends her arm.

>You grab Koakuma's hand and she helps you to your feet. You then proceed to assist her in picking up all the books that have rained down on you.
>As you're picking up the books, you glance over at Kaguya.
>She appears to be unconscious! A large, very thick book is lying on the ground near her. Your best guess would be that it probably struck her head on the way down.
