Today I game over'd 5 times at Remilia while playing EoSD Hard.

Twice on Scarlet Gensokyo and twice on Scarlet Meister. Once on her opener >_>

Scarlet Gensokyo can be done with 2 bombs, it's MUCH easier than any other last boss last card I've ever faced on Hard (Hourai Jewel, Resurrection Butterfly, VoWG)

Too bad I always reached it 0/0

Okay seriously, WTF @ Pandemonium. This spell card is officially luck garbage. While skill is definitely part, if it throws the correct combination of walls you are screwed no matter what you do. WTF I just want to captuuuuuure. D:

I've capped 30 last spells, but do they HAVE to be captured in spell practice?
Or doesn't Imperishable Shooting count for some reason?

Okay, what. I just tried Sinkable Vortex Lunatic for the 20-30th time, and I had a sort of... 'zen moment'. I pulled off some of the most incredible dodges I've ever done... and I timed it out. Not captured it. Even though I was shooting the whole time with max power SanaeB. WHAT THE HELL. ;_;

Just circle on Reimu's orbs for the last 3 seconds. It doesn't work for the last wave though, but it's usually easy to dodge if you go in the bottom-left corner.

Just circle on Reimu's orbs for the last 3 seconds. It doesn't work for the last wave though, but it's usually easy to dodge if you go in the bottom-left corner.

Dammit, I know from experience that ex-Keine's cards aren't too difficult. Now, why can I no longer consistantly capture either of her first two cards? Also, I hate Possessed by Phoenix more than any other card I've played against before.

DAMMIT! I got Hourai Doll to about 5-10% health before dying. I got it to about 25% health before I clipped a bullet, death-bombed, then completely lost my rhythm and ended up dying. I was so close to beating Extra for the first time.

I deserve this. Really. When I saw Exteetc. Arm in Drayen's showcase video, I thought "WTF this looks much easier than Nitori's". So it's only fitting that it's on its way to being BoWaP level. I just HATE how random it is. I hate how even when the laser ends and thins out, it has the same hitbox as the rest of laser. I hate how long it takes to kill it. I HATE how Nitori's random boss movements decide whether this is doable or impossible. I HATE HATE HATE HATE how I have to deal with Marisa's hitbox! I've died tons of times in ways I know Reimu would never die. Laser hitboxes are fat, but they don't reach THAT far.

Oh...I should have known it'd be like this. Mercury Poison and Philosopher's Stone: The last two spell cards in the series. Both are nasties. Mercury Poison is just as, if not more uncomfortable than the original because the waves move faster. Philosopher's Stone is in a completely different league from the original because it lasts forever instead of 7 seconds. When will they fall~? Will Sapz pull a miracle and beat me out? Who knows?

I got to Byakuren for the first time (on Easy) with 3-4 lives, and then proceeded to lose two of them on that one card with the sideways lasers because I wasn't paying attention to the aimed blue shots. I ended up losing everything on her "Shinki" spell card.

Okay, seriously, FUCK VAJIRA OF PERFECT BUDDHISM WITH SANAEB. I am going to go through the whole of Lunatic up to Stage 5 again with ReimuB for the sole purpose of beating this card. Jesus Christ I didn't ever capture it after 50 attempts, I am sick of that far-too-long long stage.

EDIT: Okay on the other hand maybe I just suck today. Game over'd at, err, Nazrin's midboss card. <_<

And here is how my second attempt at capturing QED went. Me and the spell died simultaneously. How annoying is that! I was so close to capturing that spell in just two serious attempts.

Bell rings and I leave fifth period to my sixth period, sit down at my computer, finish the assignment, then open up Touhou Folder. Sub. Animism > Start Game > Hard

I make it all the way to Nuclear Loli... flawlessly capture a spellcard that tends to end my game, and overall start to feel good about this run. It gets to the last spellcard, and I'm fairly certain I'm going to beat hard for the first time in my life... HAY GESS WUT?! IZ 7TH PERIOD FAYGET, GTFO OUT MAI 'PUTER ROOM! *teacher pushes me out the door*

My disappointment was great. My later rage was greater.

It occurred to me today that, despite having beaten Flandre multiple times with MarisaA (once almost a perfect run!), half of them scoreruns, I have never beaten her with ReimuB, the other shottype I use in EoSD.

Apparently I am destined to forever fail at this because I am completely incapable of getting past Maze of Love with Reimu :V
