You know how evil clones of characters (or if they're in the opposite/reverse world/dimension) tend to have opposite (or complementary) powers right? I'll just post stuff that I think is interesting or broken. If you have any other ideas, post away

I'll mostly be going for conceptual opposites or complements.

Evil Flandre (Erdalf Telracs): Ability to the extent of creating absolutely anything
- That's pretty broken. Although considering what the process of her powers involve, I'd say that 'Ability to the extent of manipulating tension' works better. I suppose if you keep adding tension, it'll eventually crumble which'll have pretty much the same effect as Flandre, though working in a different way. What would happen if you remove tension from something? Maybe unbreakable? Or maybe it'll still crumble.

Evil Youmu (Umuoy Ukapnok): Ability to the extent of using gun techniques
- GUN KATA! Now Reisen has a rival

Evil Yuyuko (Okuyuy Ijuoygias): Ability to the extent of manipulating life
- If we take this to mean that she can also 'invite to live', then we can have a Gensokyo Zombie Apocalypse

Evil Mokou (Arawijuf on Uokom): Ability to the extent of aging and dying
- That sounds like a really dumb ability

Evil(?) Shikieiki (Ikieikihs Udanaxamay): Ability to the extent of manipulating ambiguity
- Sounds cool, but seems useless. It'd make for some interesting newspaper articles though.

It's too bad that I can't really come up with anything for Reimu or Marisa

Well, Umier's would have the ability to be bound to the earth, or something along those lines.

And Asiram's would be the ability to make SCIENCE. Maybe

Going along with Umier's ability, the ability to bound should be extended to bind people to the rules. As Reimu can ascend from reality, Umier can force the supernatural to stop "cheating."
I guess Iguuy would have a similar power?

Irakuy can manipulate extremes. Whereas Yukari can change the area in which one opposite changes into the other, Irakuy can determine just how far something can go on the scale. For example, she can limit the scale of "powerful" so that the most powerful person can only be as strong as a fairy.

Ailimer can manipulate free will. Wow, that is pretty much as broken as fate.

Hey, this is sort of fun!

Eesrap can create feelings of goodwill and generosity.
Imimotasoyot no Okim can speak in ten different voices at the same time. :U Master voice actress right there.
Nirzan can find stuff nobody wants.
Asagok has the power to invoke routine. She is a midboss in most Evil Touhou games.
Naznu can controls humans, especially Nirihci.
Asarum is a super carpenter who excels in building and repairing ships.
Nesier can manipulate particles!

Eirin: Nirie Orokagay - A moron, able to destroy any poison. Operates a butcher shop.
Tewi: Iwet Abani - creates guaranteed disasters for non-humans. Quite trustworthy.
Rumia: Aimur - controls light, constantly glowing. often flying around with a purpose.

But what we truly fear?

Ornic - A genius, but the weakest fairy. Manipulates heat. Final Boss material, due to her incredible strategy. There are no safezones in her spellcards.

it's funny for a few of them but mostly this is pretty uninteresting

Yoshika Miyako: Ability to get eaten by anything - *Imagining Yoshika running away from Yuyuko*
Seiga Kaku: Ability to bump into walls - "Oh hey let's see what Reimu is doing in her... (bumps into shrine wall)"
Soga no Tojiko: Ability to stop lightnings - Could sound boring, but it can also get useful for people who live somewhere that has frequent thunderstorms...
Mononobe no Futo: Ability to disrupt feng shui... possibly by simply ransacking your entire room! - *Futo walks into someone's room* "Oh look they have amazing stuff here! *starts throwing everything around the room*
Mamizou Futatsuiwa: Ability to expose any disguised beings - *Mamizou is a club bouncer* "Yeah, looks like you're using a fake ID. Get out."

...Bizarreimu would just be an off-colour palette swap of the original with the power to fall to the ground, anyways.

Also reverse-world Marisa would probably use Hatred to power her spells instead of Love like canon-Marisa does.

Curiously, I always imagined the "real" Gensokyo would be something like Claymore, with Youkai being cunning, bloodthirsty beasts able to assume human shape to better hunt. That would mean that many of the characters only take a human guise, and their true for would be some hideous beast.

Isn't this pretty much canon in Touhou anyway? There have been mentions of human guises before in official material. Though the Claymore comparison is still nice.

And youkai are usually, you know, cunning, bloodthirsty beasts to begin with.

A boundary is that which divides things into separate entities. The opposite of boundaries would be bindings, or similarly, chains/teathers. which connect things.

On another note, Satori and Koishi would switch places.

Not sure about the guise part, it's just stated that they have humanly appearances.
