OK...uh...:ohdear:. It was one thing when PX or Kanjou went around with the Shino skin I made to do what Shino does, but this....

Going by Haku's statements of the Pony mod, it seems that for skins other than pony-directed ones it just uses generic templates and skins, which can sour the skin-changing experience that happens very often here.

EDIT: Death messages are done! They go in server_events.xml, starting from <death_enabled=true/false> to </death>. They are untested, however, but I think they'll work (some configuration may be needed).
Also, the extension to the community house was finished. Those of you with donation chests at spawn, I advise you all to move them and their contents all up to the second floor. There are public chests there so no need to place those - you can put the signs on the wood bits.

EDIT2: Interesting. It is possible to use a bed in full and proper when other users are on the same world but marked AFK.

Mine is only roughly marked with a cobble border, but it's planned to be expanded and adjusted with a proper livemap version.

It seems you just posted your MC username here. PMing Stuffman or Strafe nets you a generally faster turnaround time, meaning you can get on the server sooner. It may also be that due to impending 1.1 updates they are holding out on newcomers, but I'm not too certain about that.

Shit. I knew I forgot to mention something.. :V

Yeah, I modified the slime spawning area several days ago. It was just too damn effective at its original state. The giant slimes were flooding all eight layers, making tremendous lag around the spawn area. I limited it down to two three large rooms in the hopes that things will be better around there.  Besides, the freebie slime chest is nearly full, so we're not exactly hurting for slimeballs anytime soon.

I also added some windows along the ladder shaft, so checking the area for slimes is a bit easier.
