Time to use the extra gold and green records I have, though I'll still need to kill more creepers.

I wonder what the broken one will be for. Judging by how "11" sounds, maybe it will be used as a trigger for some special events, i.e. ones in a new content patch? ("Shadow of Herobrine" or something? Something more survival horror-ish than Endercreepers of the Old Gods?)

One idea I've thought of:
If such a plugin exists, would one that gives potion effects to other foods be a good idea? Considering that regen and poison are applied already to gold apples and raw chicken/rotten flesh/spider eyes, I see that it can work and make previously useless food useful.

I've put up a list of stuff I'd correlate them all with but they'd also use the unused potions (night vision, aqua affinity, etc.).

Cookies - Speed II
Melons - Speed I
Cake - No effect :V
Mushroom Stew - Fire Res Ext.
Cooked Fish - Water Breathing
Cooked Chicken -  Leaping

Cute idea, but food is much much easier to produce than potions so I don't think it'd be particularly fair :V

I think adding effects to some items might make some sense (like making rotten meat slow you and drain hunger, but make you hit harder and take less damage)(cookies adding a small speed boost). Make currently pointless items not so pointless. Also make melons have a 1/100 chance of lighting someone on fire because that's all we (or at least me and a few others) ever eat :V. (jk)

If you could do custom potion recipes, you could always just make the food be one of the required ingredients for the potions. :V

Personally, I'm hoping that they make food become future ingredients for potions. They did say that they planned on expanding the possibilities..

Alright, server's back up. I am proud to present, in TF2 style, THE WOOL UPDATE.

Spriters rejoice! You can now dye four wool at a time, making it as efficient as farming and dyeing sheep!



Using this recipe, you can change white wool to any color, or any color back to white (but not, say, red to blue).

Does this mean our beloved Sheep Feed is now obsolete? No! You can now regrow a sheep's wool in any color. While this method takes more effort and time than simply crafting the dyed wool, you can get much better efficiency out of your dyes.

Additional tweaks:
- Crops are now protected from trampling, so no need to hold shift anymore.
- Logblock is now logging a few more things, like Enderman and Creeper damage. Just in case!

Other info:
- I checked GloWool again because that'd really be a nice thing to have (and relevant to this update) but it seems to be abandoned. Too bad...
- EndReset has been updated but there are still many reports of it not working. We'll see.
- WorldGuard was updated, but there do not appear to be any plugins yet that stop snow spread from Golems. Maybe it's not a feature in Bukkit yet. In any case, this means we would prefer if you do not allow your Snow Golems to run free just yet.

In TF2 style, GET HYPE from update! This is great for my coloured wool breeding/stockpiling.

Anyway, for those who didn't notice, Torpedo, me and axman are currently building a battle arena, that'll probably involve a furnace, and lava, and whatever else we decide it's cool :3

Looking forward to it. Once you get the structure done, ask Strafe or Stuffman to WorldGuard it and assign it its own spawnpoint as well for even better effect.

That's a good idea. We just put some beds there to at least pretend to do that, since beds don't really work :V
A warp would be good too, since the place is in the middle of fucknowhere between a tall mountain range and the sea.

Not far to get to to go once, but far to go to go many times.

The intention is to do death matches and similar there, so constantly walking back would be a pain. At the moment we've been using /sethome to allow us to spawn there and then having to /sethome again in our actual homes after we're done.

Well, if a dedicated spawn point of its own on or near the arena premises is set the walking won't be a problem at all. They can get back to fighting even more quickly than using a /warp or /home.

I've done that for my PTM arena which was imported to W2. Those who die in the arena ring respawn on another platform below; however, this doesn't apply if they fall out if it :V

Good news, everyone! Sparda has reported that EndReset is now fully functional.

Give it a try yourself - the current respawn time is set to one hour. Remember, this is one hour after the last person to be in the End left it, not after the dragon was killed. Going into the End while it's empty will reset the timer.

Nice, nice!

Also, those who kill the dragon (or even go to the End) should post up a sign over near spawn about when they left the end (eg. 'EP - 15:30 GMT-5') during peak hours to keep the timer from perpetually resetting. The next dragon-slayer can remove that sign and write down the new one.

I wonder, will Dynmap ever receive an update so our map orientation will be correct once and for all? I'll have to look into that. Some of these commands look pretty interesting.. like being able to assign labels to locations that will be displayed for easier navigation. Hm.. :3

Battle of the Battle Arenas! I guess that means we'll have three of them once Molten rejoins us.

Like EP stated, I can assign a dedicated spawnpoint for your Arena. For the sake of example, here's what I did for EP's arena: The actual "battleground" is marked with a bounding field. If anybody dies within the field, then they spawn at a dedicated point within the structure. Else, they just return to default Spawn.

Once your structure is complete, just track me down and I'll take care of it for ya.

Dynmap has been reset to face the correct direction. This mean the map needs to be regenerated.

On the plus side, the map now zooms out farther and shows more of the world.

I guess I should have posted it here. Sorry! I'm just clearing out the map cache real quick. We should be back up soon.

EDIT- Okay. We're back now. Sorry for the wait. That took much more time than I had really wanted.  :derp:

If that don't work, use more EDIT- And now the maps are rendered and everything is happy. I let Dynmap do an automatic render of all of the chunks established, and it did the job quite nicely! There are still some gaps, especially in World 2, but that's just unexplored territory.

Oh, and I've found that we have to launch the EndReset plugin again whenever we restart the server. No biggie, really. The time delay is measured in minutes, right?
