Thanks for all your work, the fix for "gone courting" worked and I managed to get much further than before.

Unfortunately, there are 2 more progress-stopping bugs I've encountered.

The first deals with the "Black Project" mission: regardless of whether I stealth in or get caught, the game crashes with the last library loaded being audio/streams/RE . I think I've had other random crashes occur with the same last library loaded. (I think this may be caused by using a save file that at one point had the AREA_69_ENTER2.cs script)
Edit: Confirmed to be a save problem. Just played from the beginning all the way to the black project and had no problems completing it.

The second deals with the mission "the Meat Business": the cutscene works just fine, but once it finishes (or is skipped) the game sort of.... stops. Black screen, occasionally with "the Caligula Casino" at the bottom and the program suddenly eats an entire processor core. You can freely work the menu with esc, like viewing the map and such. It's also possible to use the "yx" cheat to get out of the casino, but you won't be able to move. Edit: Confirmed to affect 2nd playthrough

I'm not sure if these bugs are on my end alone.

Edit2: found another repeatable but not really game-affecting crash: Attempting to view the rear Chromer Bullbar for the Slamvan causes an immediate crash.

I think I had the same problem but skipping the cutscene allows you to continue.

Really? Spacebar always worked for me...

EDIT: I think I'm onto something-attempting to switch to Lyrica's skin (the one replacing Ken Rosenberg) causes all controls to become unresponsive (beyond esc). The cutscene model works fine but it seems the pedestrian model has issues.

EDIT2: it seems Lyrica's skin under "add-on actors" works fine-its the "special actors" skin that has issues.

This is an unusual one I have gotten before, yet at other times I don't either. Not sure what precisely causes it.

Confirmed this bug, will be setting up a fix despite absurdly slow upload speeds in my current location.

Apparently, by turning on mouse steering, I was able to control the car during the cutscene.  It took a few tries, but I managed to get it to work.  It's very picky about the specific angle the wheels are turned, however.

Also, another strange issue I found: Reimu doesn't seem to be gaining any muscle stat in the game.  I spent a good 30 minutes lifting weights to date Millie, only to find the stat not move.  When using the muscle cheat, the stat still didn't move.  I ended up using the cheat with the CJ model, which properly altered the stat.

most of the stats dont work on the custom models as the game does a confirmation loop to set the stat after the model changes accordingly
way back, the game use to crash if you tried changing those stats with a custom model, now it just blocks it from happening at all

Keep up your good work, this Mod really looks amazing.

So i finally got this mod to work for me. I have the Steam Version and an US V1.0 EXE of the Game.

Sadly, i've got the same issue as Countbuffalo (This Post).  :ohdear:
Everything is fine as long as i look backwards or when i'm on a vehicle.
If you need to know, i have a AMD Radeon HD 6570 Graphics Card which driver i've updated recently but i still have the same issues.

Really hope this is a fixable issue.

Just made it to this mission.  I'm having the same problem.  I noticed that if I wait long enough, I can hear the traffic outside.

I had these issues from the first cutscene encountered, only way I fixed it was from a totally fresh install, deleting EVERYTHING, even saves and configs
bugs like this happen as the mod goes thru versions

No idea why that happens, but in either case, CJ model's a must for that.

Maybe they are preventing you from becoming cho-Reimu :V ?
If only the Touhou models updated to adjust to muscle stat, hahaha. :V

I think I just fixed the problem.
After some fooling around with an img editor and txd workshop I managed to get the rose pedestrian model fixed. I think the txd was corrupt?

Thank you very much.  This did in fact fix the problem.

However, I have encountered another problem.  In the mission "Black Project", the game crashes when I grab the jetpack.  I tried it four or five times, so I'm assuming it's pretty consistent.  D:

Trying to start a new save, cut scene runs normally. Everything seems okay until I finally get control for CJ, then this happens.



It's like an image burn or something. If I pause the game and click resume, its just the pause menu burned into the game. I still seem to have control as I was able to get on the bike, but it's just this problem with the image is happening. If this has been addressed before I'm sorry as I didn't see it. Thanks for the help.

The mod pack comes will all the CLEO files working out of the box, no need to install it manually
Start from scratch again and just drag and drop, nothing more

No need for either, and IIRC Cleo 4 is incompatible with the many Cleo 3 scripts used here anyway.

Now I'm also having trouble with the Black Project mission. When ever I either alert the area and cause the lockdown or get to the marker in the control center, the game crashes.

Here is the crash report when I set off the alarm or enter the control room marker. I am doing this mission as CJ and I deleted AREA_69_ENTER2.cs also.

That sounds like the problem I had earlier: you cannot START a game with the script, you may need to start over from the very beginning. :(

Ah well, thanks ISMWM60, didn't knew the issue as well as the solution (deleting fixedcameraangle) was mentioned before years ago.
Enjoying the mod so far, everything works fine now - well except for the usual known crashes.

Btw, whats the title and circle name of the music which is used as the fanfare for completing a mission?

Crashing on Dinput8.dll means that a model failed to load/render properly
a FRESH install of GTA: SA and the mod fixes this

Just installed the mod today, been able to get it working as far as the main menu but once I try to start a new game it loads (Nice loading pictures by the way) and just as it finishes the screen goes black and the game crashes. I've made sure that I'm running in compatibility mode for XP Service Pack 2 and that I have version 1.0 and at this point any help at all would be appreciated because I'm completely lost as to what to do next.

EU v1.0 is known to have issues for whatever reason - obtain a US verison.
