I can tell you what I used for mine, as well as the template that I used for the dress under the black jacket. They are both modified versions of Burda Pattern # 3274, which is a basic long billowy dress with a pretty conservative neckline. I swapped out the sleeves for the jacket with sleeves from a princess costume that had the puffed up shoulders, and I modded the front by taking out a six-inch-wide swath of fabric down the middle of the front section so that it would be open at the front, using strips of black elastic to close up the gap over the torso. The only mods I did on the inner dress were to make it long enough to go to my ankles, as I hate exposing my legs in a costume, and to remove the sleeves to make it less unbearable in hot weather. These are only basic design ideas, you should plot your own course!

Thanks! I took a look at the pattern, and it looks very nice. (And somewhat simple to put together, in my opinion.  :3)
For the jacket, I might have have the laces that are in the middle all glued/sewn to a strip of fabric, and have it button under the jacket, since that might be a little easier to get in and out of the jacket.

So yeah, been working/failing more on the other tokins... but I did finally figure out a way to keep the tokin securely attached to the head - dented the super nice one in the process of perfecting the best mounting system (failed early attempt at securing to head aka it fell off)

But yeah, looks very promising. Earlier attempts with just the hairband was failing because the hairband would slide forward/backwards off my head. The rubberband would prevent that. Would probably get some other fancy elastic or whatnot in my final version - since rubber bands do go bad... last thing I need is to have it go SNAP and sling my hairband 5 feet away.

At last, I want to say, most of Touhou fans are guys, due to the named guys in Touhou are only Rinnosuke and Youki, so most of guys choose female characters for costume. Due to my friend doesn't know about Touhou, he missed some characters like Tewi (girl) Eirin (Guy), Wriggle (girl) Murasa (girl) and some other characters.

Well, since we are not in the same teams, just Aya (He is a guy) found out that there were too many Touhou cosers, so after lunch, Aya met Meiling (The red one, a girl, not the black one, a guy), then several minutes later, they found over 20 cosers.
Here is a list, but not all members because we failed to call some others.

Four Meilings (Two dressed in Red are girls, and one dressed in Red is a guy and the black one is also a guy).
Three Remilias (One of them is Koumajou version, all of them are girls)

A Sakuya (Failed to find three normal version but only a Koumajou version.)

Well, we failed to find another three normal version Sakuyas and the fattest Yuyuko and Tenshi. Wriggle and Murasa can't wait anymore and left us. It was said that someone found Rumia in somewhere, but I am not sure. No Daiyosei as well.
Then I gave them my name card and the girl who dressed as Meiling added me last night.

Why Scarlet Devil Mansion is rich?
Because Meiling runs a Chinese food restaurant while Sakuya runs a maid cafe then Patchouli runs a library. So they can easily earn money.
Koumajou Reimu ended up sell her images to get a little money, 10 yuan (About 1.5 dollars) each. The normal Reimu is also an exhibitor. So I said that there were about 40 Touhou cosers, only a little of them are exhibitors while most of the them were just like me, a cosplayer for entertainment.
Next time when you want to visit Shanghai, if there is another exhibition, I will bring you there as well. Of course, I will be a coser.

Well, somehow, I am waiting for the next exhibition and I wonder whether the others will attend or not.
On the other hand, most of them are students, I mean college students just like Meiling who added me that night.
Among them, even I am just 25 years old I am the elder so it's not strange that I am Youki and they call me "grandfather", and when they see Youmu, they said that she is my granddaughter.
Because that we are not in the same team, they always asked me "Where is your granddaughter, and where is your master Yuyuko?" I replied, "You see, the fat one is Yuyuko, but she always watching her MP4, I can't just stop her because it maybe some adult video."
Two Rinnosukes, even Marisa can't tell which one is the real one. Well, they ended up that play "Rock, Paper, Scissors". One of them hid his hand in shirt so that he is considered foul in the game and ended up beaten by the zombie.
Well, there are too many funny story between us even we didn't know each other, maybe the next time, we can team up and play more for visitors.
So, I think that we should say, "To be continue" after this show.

Long time no see. I edited the title because Jan 14th in the same place (but the second floor not the third floor) there will be another exhibition called "CC10". I notice that some of those ones will still attend this time while some of those may be absent.
I hope that there will be more Touhou characters this time and someone maybe change their characters.
For me, I will be Youki again.
