Nothing particularly untoward happens along the way, the most interesting thing you see if some distant figure flying northward as you are about two-thirds the way there. You are too far away to identify her, and aside from being there she does nothing to arouse your suspicions. Soon enough, you reach Youkai Mountain and find little has changed. A few scattered patrols still circle around, but you get the feeling they are mostly there for appearances or the off chance that Aya returns.

>You see no signs of Momiji as you make your way toward the Tengu village. One of the patrols flies in the same direction you do, clearly watching you from a distance, but they say nothing and break off soon as you approach the village.
>The village itself is quiet. You can see a few tengu scurrying about, huddled against the strong chill wind blowing through town. You are glad that you have your gloves on, to say the least.

>"You're welcome," says the tengu.
>You go northward, following the curve of the mountain. The houses here are more tightly packed together than elsewhere in the town,  reminding you of the more crowded parts of the Ancient City. Some are taller, too, nearly four stories in height and decorated with pagoda-style roofs that give the appearance of tree boughs. The roads are still unpaved, and crisscrossed with a number of little alleys and side roads that aren't large enough for two people to walk abreast. Still, for all the tight construction there isn't that much space this high up the mountain; you find yourself on the northern slope and approaching the backside of the mountain quickly when you notice a four-story home that has a small sign in front that reads, "Kakashi Spirit News."

>You find the door and knock on it. It takes a few more knocks before you hear someone approach. The door opens to reveal a brown-haired tengu wearing a plaid skirt, you recognize her immediately.
>"Oh, this is convenient," says Hatate. "I assume you're here for an interview on the Incident?"
