Pretty much like this. I was watching CCS when it was Cardcaptors, so I only got the whole verbal tic idea a few years later. When I saw it in the manga afterward I saw that instead of 'hoeeee' it was written as 'phweeee'. Then DRK called for Sango to get a dolphin-sounding verbal tic, and the rest is history.

What's your favourite time period in history?

I've always loved post-war America. The film noir period, so to speak. Hard-boiled detectives, everyone walking around with a trenchcoat and a tommy gun, the mafia keeping the city going as the prohibition drives people nuts...it's glorious, but in just a twisted enough way that it's a guilty pleasure. It's the age of womanisers, of smart-talking detectives, of car gunfights. There's a reason why L.A. Noire is pretty much the biggest game on my wish list right now.

If you could go back to any time period and place and not interact with it in any way, where/when would you go and why?

I'd go all the way back to the start of time and watch in amazement as the universe puts itself together in the space of a second.

- This is particularly difficult for me given my lousy childhood in social circles. Sad as it sounds, I'd say getting home to play some Street Fighter or something. When I didn't really have any friends at school, games sorta filled in the gap.
- We own a cat, Minstrel. In my case 'own' is about the nicest word I can use in that we typically go out of our way to avoid each other. We occasionally have staring contests in the hallway.
- Neither. Dropped caffeine entirely about a month ago. Living entirely off Sprite. :V

Incident in Rising Star, if I recall. The Murasa arc. At one point, thanks to sleep dep typing, I wrote down 'shit' instead of 'ship'. I edited, made to correct the error...and proceeded to write down 'shit' again.
