< Poniko doesn't say anything.  Monoe looks back at the floor.
< They don't already know, do they...?

>"Has anyone else from outside this...dream, I guess, ever come to you?

> Hold the phone. Have we ever gotten a description of Yukari? If memory serves, we've never even met her.

< You're about to ask more questions, but then you realize that you don't know what Yukari looks like.

< Poniko shakes her head.  "No.  She always came alone."

< Poniko sighs, rolls over on her back, and stares at the ceiling.  "She'd tell me stories about places she'd seen exploring.  She was too curious, although being reckless in a dream was understandable.  She wasn't bad, she was only maybe 13 or 14 years, there was just...something off about her.  If you had come here or so a year ago, when there were still more areas to explore, you would've found that out and then some.  I don't think she knew that this place was her doing.  We got along, but when she saw Uboa for the first time she got scared and stabbed me, which was understandable.  It took me a while to reearn her trust.  Eventually she stopped coming, and then..."  Poniko trails off.  "I suppose she couldn't take any more.  Do you want to know why she stopped coming?"

[Kasu]

< You gulp.  Monoe is expressionless.
< Poniko glances over at you.  With a lot of difficulty, she says,

< Come to think of it, how do you get back to the real world?
< Monoe tugs on your sleeve, then pulls on her cheek.

< She shakes her head and points to your cheek.

< Monoe and Poniko smile.

> You find yourself awake in your futon, back at your room at the inn.  Kogasa is snuggled up next to you, fast asleep.

> ... Gently get ourself out of Kogasa's arms, and roll out of the futon.
> Get dressed and equipped.
> Get out a piece of paper, and write a note for Kogasa.
>> "Kogasa- Went to pick up Youmu and find Reimu. Please keep an eye out for the ghost. Meet you back here at noon. Love, Sanae."
> Put the note on Kogasa's clothes.
> Tuck Kogasa back into the futon, give her a peck on the cheek, and leave quietly.

> You sit up and look around.  You have to guess that it's probably early morning right now.

> You are now standing outside of the inn.  It's less crowded in the streets than it was a few hours earlier.  Even oni need to sleep after all the partying, huh.  The ghosts are carefree as ever, though.

> Satsuki waves back as you approach.
> "Working at a hospital doesn't mean you get to sleep in," she says as she stifles a yawn.  "It's okay, I just got up."

> "Hows the ghosty girl doing?"

> "She woke up an hour ago.  Um, she said something about her swords being missing..."

> "Konngara has them. We kinda forgot to leave them with you, though I guess it just made her stay put, right?"

> Dig out our purse and hand her the cash. "Thanks again! If you're ever up there, you're welcome to come to the Moriya Shrine!"
> Wave goodbye, and head to the room that Youmu's in.
