>It's metallic, and very smooth. Cold too, but that's to be expected.

>Does it have any particularly qualities? Is it conductive? Magnetic? Reflective? Ductile? Anti-Newtonian?

>Does it have any particularly qualities? Is it conductive? Magnetic? Reflective? Ductile? Anti-Newtonian?
>You cannot probe these qualities yourself. However, summoning a small piece of metal of your own, you start investigating.
>Oddly, it seems to generate a magnetic field... but it only has a South Pole. This is supposed to be impossible, the North Pole should be somewhere!

>Do we have the capacity to trace along the magnetic field, and find if the pole is just elsewhere due to dimensional screwiness?

>You can experiment using small iron pieces to get an idea of how the force lines are shaped. Of course, if you're unable to find the source of the opposite pole, it's safe to assume the latter.

>We'll have to get Yuki and Mai to dismantle this thing.
>You do so! The iron shows... huh. Wait, what?
>The force lines bend inwards. Does this mean that the opposite pole is within the core of the thing? That's weird!
>Yuki and Mai are asleep, sprawled on top of their respective beds.

>You use some laser thingie to start cutting the helmet in half.
>You see inside some sort of antenna! This must be the receiver. That was... somewhat clever.

>You try to do so, but it seems that the communication is cut! You do realize that there is some sort of transmitter too.

>This one looks a lot more convoluted, like a whole radio. Upon deep inspection, you realize it's only made to deliver only one type of signal, heavily encrypted.
