Alright guys, it's 2011, that means there's only 4-5 months to prepare for Anime North 2011!
If any of you have been to the Touhou Panel last year, thank you so much for doing so. Even though it was the first time being in the con it was a huge success! It wouldn't have done so well without you (despite the small room and lack of A/V equipment). This year we're gonna try to do our best to get both so then everyone can have a seat. The room was way too small, and there an unexpected huge amount of people that came. The discussion never stopped, we always had something to talk. And thanks to the fellow panelists who helped out last year, even though it was your first time for the most part. All of us did real well.
Anyways, even though we're planning to do the panel once again this year, we're currently short at least one member for the Panel. Last year's head of the panel had to drop out for the reason that he was too unsure if he'll make it this year. So in his place he selected me to take control of the panel. Khoa will also be returning as a fellow panelist, but the other two I haven't been able to contact them since. So all we have is Khoa, me, and a friend of mine who knows moonspeak and has some knowledge of the jp fanbase.
If you want to help out, no need to fear if it's your first time. It's not hard to do. Just try to talk, keep the conversations going, make sure it never dies. The worst thing we want is silence, but looking at the fandom I'm sure that definitely won't be a problem at all. We're probably gonna take two if there's a lot of people wanting to help, it's just that we need a minimum of four panelists for it to pass and to get a slot in the con.
Other than that, feel free to use this topic for normal discussion as well. Any Canadians or those close to the border planning on going? We should do a group MotK pic if we ever find each other.
