Released at C79, Suwapyon gives an interesting take on the danmaku genre.
The game is not entirely 2d anymore. Bullets can be both on the ground and in the air.
You can jump over the bullets on the ground but you also have to be careful not to jump into bullets in the air.

The game has 5 difficulty levels and an Extra stage. There also may or may not be a TLB.

Game is awesome, though Crimzon Clover seems to be eating up the time I would spend playing Pyon Pyon :ohdear:

It's a lot less confusing in-game than in the trailer. Although at many points, it's more confusing.

I tried it a couple times, but was turned off by the amount of slowdown I get the moment any mildly threatening pattern pops up, though I'm not sure whether that's the fault of my crappy computer or intentional Cavelag.

I figured that was the case. It works fine on the computer I use to play CC, so no worries.

But I still suck at it.

Heard about this on release but I didn't feel like logging into nico to check it out at the time. Looks pretty cool if not stupidly hard. Not that I'm super-awesome with danmaku anyway, but the 3d element looks really mind-bending to me. Might give it a try sometime if I get bored or something.

Also a little off-topic, but it's bugging me, what's that song at 1:01? I want to think it's from a fighter but I'm not sure.

EDIT: Nevermind, figured it out, GFW Extra. Explains a lot, I never played that game much.
