I'd love to Participate, but you seem to have a surplus on pianists, and I doubt that an oboe would work very well in a jazz band. Also, am very out of practice. I wish you luck and hope to see what happens with this.

All right, confession time guys.

I fucked up. I thought I could just do everything I wanted and the world was my plaything. Turns out I was wrong. I am HORRIBLY overcommitted to stuff right now and quite frankly can't lead a band effectively.

If someone wants to take over, please, do. I still should have time to be a member. But...I'm sorry about starting something and not being able to finish it. I just couldn't keep up...

I would like to hear anything that should be appealing from an experimental perspective; there are too many modest, unremarkable rock bands in today's modern era. Plug your amp in incorrectly and then play something ear-shatteringly gruesome.... then funnel it into a synthesiser, amplify the bass, and contrive to edit the sound in a manner that would typically be considered unorthodox. Behold; you now have the musical incarnation of ectoplasm.

So what are you asking for? Please clarify because I really don't understand what you're asking.

Do you want us to actually construct something worth listening to? or are you requesting us to play a certain way?

Here's a sample of how I play drumset. It's mostly jazz-ish. The first part is a solid, even rhythm. The second part has a swing feel.

This isn't an actual recording, but a program that I use. I don't have recording equipment for my drumset yet, so this is currently the only way to showcase how I play, for now

the best way is to decide on a touhou track or whatelse u have in mind.
after that usually the drummer+basser is going to make the rhythm OR the solo instrument is going to rec the melody , and everybody else plays according to what we have.

If this project is still going on, I can play flute and piano, though I'm not very good at improvising ^^;;

I can sing, too, but my voice is pretty high and bright (think Yellow Zebra + a smidge of IOSYS-ish timbre)

The bass tracks work fine, but we might need clear sound just for the sake of passing it around to others.

I'll work on some riffs, pick a Touhou track or two to study from, and I'll come back with what I have.
