Just so people know, the entire point of NaNoWriMo is to train your consistency in writing. Just writing. Not in thinking up stories, not in clever wordplay, not in literary craftmanship. Just writing.
There are a number of unofficial rules such as no using backspace, no looking back over anything you've written, etc. Just keep spitting out words untill you hit your 1700 goal each day. Unless you're already an experienced writer, there's no way you can hit 50k if you waste time with those things, and if you can, then there's no problem then. The point is all that stuff can be taken care of later, and the first copy will always suck anyways so there's no point in trying to make it good, just make it.
