Ran 1 is just streaming. Ran 2, I think Ran moves the same way as Chen.
Yukari 1 is streaming, but watch carefully and don't move too far.
Yukari 2 - move around counter clockwise in a circle, make sure the familiars aren't too close together
(you can also stream the familiars from left to right, but I've never tried that)
Yukari 3 - uhhh... just don't get trapped at the bottom I guess, I don't have a strategy.

I have timed out all of Orin's spells now except for her 1st card. Capturing it isn't too bad normally but timing it out. Then those fairies spouting pellets gets annoying.

Quite a nice reward isn't it? From Easy to Normal to Hard Reimu had less and less clothes at the ending picture. Lunatic disappoined.
ZUN should go back to awarding pictures of the character when you win. It made it more interesting to go through all difficulties with both characters.

Ahahaha. I can normally get to Yukarin 3/0 but I end up dying on some bullshit like Mesh of Light and Darkness.
I have, however, in one instance, made it to Yukari's Spiriting Away.
I don't like that card. It can die.

XSC is easy, I agree. I have 1/1 on it.
Ran's 2nd card, I've captured once. I don't expect to ever do it again.

Hands are still shaking and I still can't believe this happened, but I did it.  EoSD hard 1cc  .   Didn't even have the hitbox patch running either (I got that uninstalled a long time ago).

First hard 1cc for a Touhou game ever for me to boot which is why I'm shaking so much I would suspect.

The kicker is that this is my first time playing EoSD in months and only the first attempt I tried this day.  Wasn't even being serious about it either, just me firing up a random game and having a little fun.

Funny how I cleared given my struggles from stage 4 onwards on top of dying twice due to fairies ramming me and one death with a bomb or two in stock to Remi.

Silly you. Of course it isn't. UFO Hard is UFO before the game gets so hard that resource gathering get's troublesome. Besides, the patterns are much easier on Hard than on Lunatic.

You are good enough to handle the game at that setting without too much hazzle. Judging on your skills in the rest of the series. If anything, you just find EoSD much easier than I do. Unless you want to state that MS, SA and PoDD Lunatic is easier too. Then its just you that are odd.

Played the Gengetsu script for the first time in a while, went how you'd expect. However, I successfully dodged an entire wave of Gengetu Spark, and didn't even use death bullet clearing! I take this as a victory.

Second time playing MoF Stage 5 Lunatic in a while, perfected it again. (first time was a stupid death pre-midboss) Not bad after the long break I've been taking from Touhou.

Seriously, though, I know I'm not near there -- I'm still working on normal 1ccs for all but PCB and MoF (and I still haven't bought SA :derp:) I thought it was neat to pull this off after watching yet another EoSD run end on Scarlet Shoot, though.

And .... 73 cards and still haven't unlocked Phantasm, lol. I might try to go for 80, but the only non-Lunatic card I have yet to capture out of the first three stages is that icky thing called Douman-Seiman.

Finally captured Catwalk on lunatic today, after about 20 or so tries. That makes every ReimuA SA card a capture.

Edit: 1DNB Orin; this really is not that hard of a boss fight.

Edit: and perfected the stage portion as well! Now to put the two of them together...

I think I might have found a way to ease post-midboss-Alice as MarisaA. Now if only I can put together a good run for boss-Alice, a full perfect run might be possible.

2DNB SA stage 5 run. I die to Catwalk, predictably, but also to Zombie Fairy, which alternates with getting clipped on Ghost Wheels as the source of my deaths on Orin. On the plus side I get a nice capture of the popcorn spam.

Is this the most fun stage in all of Touhou? I think so.

And the funny thing is, I played it earlier with shooting and focusing and died to PSS and Ichirin's midboss spell and then stopped after a stupid death at the very beginning of stage 4.
