am i the first artist to get a thread remake since the art stuff got its own board? you bet your ass i am.

i know i have a whole season before it gets here, but i can't wait for winter. so i drew Marisa in a scarf.

oh, and this thread is going to be traditional only for a while. my tablet/tablet pen is not working right, and i'm not even going to attempt to draw with a mouse. that's JT's job.

i have a whole box of coloring utensils upstairs in my room and i am going to try to color this tonight!

just posting the uncolored here in case i fuck something up during the coloring process.

also, i'm going to take this opportunity to thank all you MoTK dudes. waaaay back when i did my first art thread, something like this was an hour+ of work. now, this is what i can do in the same amount of time. that's a massive improvement, to say the least. if you guys weren't around to cheer me on the whole way, i wouldn't have improved at all. i feel like, if i keep at it, i might actually have a promising art-based career in my future, which would be incredible. it's what i've wanted since i was in elementary.

even if i don't reply to everything with a big ol' "thanks! i really appreciate it! wow!", your comments, criticisms, compliments, and the like really help out. letting me know that you like my stuff gives me a drive to do more and more, and in the process, get better and better(hopefully).

i honestly don't think i can thank you all enough. getting paid to do what i love would be a dream come true, and this is certainly going to help me get there. :yukkuri:

Yeah, I've noted a few times, at least on IRC, that your art has improved spectacularly in little under a year.

we had to become entrepreneurs for our history project, and my group decided to make drums. not just drums, APOLLO MOTHERFUCKING DRUMS.

yeah so since i'm completely clueless to anything related to instruments, i offered to do all of our visual stuff, which isn't much.

this is our logo or something, i guess.
