"Kaguya" is a pretty popular myth used in many anime. I grinned at Kaguya in Code Geass.Every time I hear Kaguya, you know whom I think about, of course.

Kaguya in Okami is actually based from Kaguya from "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter". Her Spaceship bamboo thing is a testament to that.

More Muramasa stuff.

One of the first swords Kisuke gets is named Yakumo.

You also face off against a greater oni in Momohime's story. He can turn into shadowy mist to teleport and grow to become ginormous and then stomp the stage.

When I played Okami, it mostly talked about the Yatagarasu. I couldn't help but imagine Okuu throughout the entire game.

not only that attack, there was one that is just like a spellcard from flandre and another one that reminded me one of...Kanako, I think?

The amount of touhou flashbacks I get from Okami is just absurd, being Japanese mythology and all.

1. Sakuya, the tree sprite and her... peaches
2. Kaguya full stop
3. Crow tengus
4. The Dragon Palace (mostly due to Iku Quest)
5. Orochi's elemental heads gave me Patchouli flashbacks, even though they really don't fit into her scheme

And the little bits and pieces here and there.

EDIT: And the dog named Tei and the guy looking for his Inaba and....and... bah

One of Kisuke's blades is named Kirisame Muramasa, and there is a location he needs to go to called Mt. Ibuki (but that's Suika's actual namesake so maybe that doesn't count).

I recall proclaiming those Muramasa references before as well, and got the same response on it. Oh well, no harm in reliving that sort of past.

Also, did I mention that the weapon Tsubaki from Blazblue wields is called the Izayoi? The main bladed weapon is a sword so short, I thought it to be a knife. Needless to say, I thought of Sakuya next to instantly.

The amusing this is that her chest looks like a peach viewed from the right angle, don't ask how I noticed xD

I also got quite a laugh out of the moon god... you know, with the mallet, guess what I thought of :3

So, apparently my brother traded Yugioh cards with one of my friends again. What did he get this time?

We both kind of freaked out over this. It really is a real card, I saw it myself and had that image pulled up 5 seconds later.

You know you're addicted to Touhou when the Touhou-themed Minecraft server you were playing was shut down for a week, and you quit for that time instead of joining a non-Touhou server. (Or.. I'm a terrible artist, but I had to do this while my real one was being made. Skirts are also physically impossible.)
