I can't figure out how to word what to say to Reimu, might press it later, dinnertime. Uh, wanting to know what it's really like there, maybe bring up the desertion? Has anyone asked us to keep that secret? What's the cost/benefit analysis on that?
There was something here once. Wonder what...

I don't recall being asked to keep the desertion a secret, and I don't think they'd have a huge issue with Reimu knowing. I don't think I'd tell until after we've captured our ghost, though, just in case Plum Flower gets a chance to prove her worth.

>She's been circling over the house.
>"Yep." says Reimu, as she lands in front of the door. She frowns at the door hanging open, then walks inside.
>You follow her in, as does Plum Flower. The interior is as you remember it., save for more footprints in the dust. "It's haunted, alright," says Reimu, glancing around idly. "Otherwise the bugs and rats and faeries would have taken the place apart already. Shouldn't be too difficult to- would you let go of me please?"
>"...Scared." Plum Flower mumbles, clinging to Reimu's arm and burying her face in it. The shrine maiden sighs.

>Reaching the top of the stairs, Reimu nudges you aside and takes the lead, Plum Flower still clinging to her arm and whimpering. She walks into the room and looks around, grimacing. "Let's...get this over with quickly." she says, waving her gohei about. After a few moments of this, she frowns.
