I played Audiosurf again and now I'm trying to find games that turn your music into danmaku... aside from BPO.

I've heard decent things about Beat Hazard, although that's more music boosting your firepower than turning it into danmaku.

I've played Beat Hazard. It's okay, but not really my thing.

I actually have a few fond memories playing as that guy that possessed Leonardo's and Liquid Snake's voice. Not to mention some of those weapons being absolutely ridiculous. What other game sandwiches their minigun and rocket launcher together? Oh, and firing a grenade round and then spearing it with a stake as it descended NEVER, EVER got old. It never served much purpose since it could be rather difficult to pull off under stress and it was horribly tough to get that sweet combination of timing and accuracy right, but man was it ever fun.

I had no idea you could do that grenade-stake thing. I'll have to try it once I figure out how to beat that giant tar thing! :V

I'll let you figure that part out. Don't forget about the combo attacks for the painkiller and lightning gun, either. Actually, since that fight is in a pond/swamp, it's more akin to mud and the detritus from the surrounding trees. Ever put your feet in a pond full of rotten leaves? It's like stepping in a massive pile of dog poo. Hence, you are fighting one huge dog poo analog.

I still can't get myself to play this. I bought it and it has just sat around. I spent 20 minutes getting to the archives, and the vast darkness and constant ambient noises mean I don't have the guts to make it any further. I haven't even encountered Mr. Scary yet.

Now you have taste in games. Played it and completed it not long ago. Was awesome and scary as hell...
All was good apart from the things in the end. Kind of went out of it there :/

Myself I'm being wierd and playing some Modern Warfare 2.

Just finished Link's Awakening the other day, started Twilight Princess just a bit ago because of it. Man, this game had so much hype, and then it just came and went. It's not a bad game by any means, but it's somehow...unnotable. Still an improvement on Ocarina of Time though.

I'm on a bit of a Diablo II: LoD kick at the moment. I will beat this game someday! For now I'm at Act III on Normal with a Holy Freeze Paladin. It's rather delicious just how reliable one aura (plus synergies) can be for damage. :V

Finished ToS2. Passable RPG. Probably shouldn't have raised a Fenia in retrospect, since she/it broke the game into tiny pieces.

I've dipped my hand into as many "Mystery Dungeon" (Read: Casual Rougelikes) games as I could, including Shiren, Chocobo, and Azure Dreams. Not touching pokemon again though, since Shiren The Wanderer is much too much the same game.

Also, I found an english Translation of Puyo Puyo Seven. Avatar somewhat related.
