Ok so... it's time to roll mooks bitches. I'm a terrible writer I think; kill me.
Rumor has it that one of the Idiot Maidens was considering retiring, and a trial was to be held at her shrine to see who was the most appropriate to inherit the title. The rumor spread far and wide, and made its way around quick quickly. As they say, "rumors become reality", therefore the Idiot Maiden is indeed retiring, right? :V
Then came the day, where a grand sum of... 15 people gathered outside the shrine grounds, huddled in two distinctive groups; nobles and commoners as it were. A total of five useless nobles could be counted just from the way they held their heads above the rest.
The crowd waited. And waited. And waited... was this just a hoax after all?
Moments later, several tables had emerged from the ground, each looking as generic as each other and each featuring the same hole in the center of the table. The donation box's top half had poly-morphed to look more like a closed chest.
Five more people rushed on the scene, with a look of relief on each of their faces after seeing that the Idiot Maiden, Baity hadn't appeared yet. They all knew that Baity was always late when it comes to events even if she was the one hosting them.
Baity suddenly appeared before the gathering, holding what appears to be a leather bag looking to be about the size of a coin purse. In a monotonic voice she plainly said:
"Each of you are to reach in the bag and pull out a small box about the size of a 52 pack of cards."
"But the bag doesn't even look like it can hold five of them, how can it hold a good...however many people are here amount of them!", a voice cried out from the crowd.
"Sounds like you're about as clueless as Sana.", Baity replied in the same controlled voice, with a small smug expression showing.
"Now then let us begin, the instructions are contained within the box. We don't have all day to do this you know? Not to mention we have to keep the spectators entertained! So hop to it!"
Baity opened the leather bag, and each of the contestants reached in and pulled out a box. Upon examining the contents and reading the instructions found inside the box, there were mixed reactions ranging from cries of laughter to looks of denial to looks of disappointment.
"Good luck, have fun and all that jazz.", Baity murmured before walking into the Shrine.
How many will survive this day? Find out!.
Challenge I: Restricted RPS
expected/10 edition
Anybody who actually bothered to decode the breadcrumbs would've seen this coming. DrakeInfo
TM said that >50% of you would have figured it out. The (awfully generic) decoding method also leaked on IRC... which a few more people got. For the people who don't get what I'm going on about, tough cookies for you (read: deal with it).

Additional rules / outlines:
- Each of you have nine "Cards" denoting each of the three gestures; that is three of each gesture (of Rock, Paper and Scissors). Don't try to cheat the system.
- Each of you also start off with three STAR CHIPS and these can be gained or lost throughout the game.
- Winning a round nets you the wagered amount of STAR CHIPS, losing loses the same amount.
- Issue a challenge against a player with ##Challenge: <Player>, <Wager> without underline. <Wager> is the amount of STAR CHIPS you would like to wager. Both "##" and bold text must be used or the command will be ignored.
- You may repeat challenges with the same person multiple times, in that one instance too! Just repeat the command over and over and over in the same post. Or issue multiple challenges while we're at it.
- Accept a challenge from another player with ##Accept: <Player>.
- Upon accepting, both contestants PM me with their chosen card and player, and the battle will occur
ASAP ASAIFLI. In the case of having multiple challenges underway, try to keep it as one PM but specify the target of the Card. - You may also do "unconventional" things like SUDDEN DEATH or a 2:1 wager or whatever if you want to. Be creative with the command; I'll generally accept any command here as long as I can understand it in this case.
- You survive the round when you have 4 or more STAR CHIPS and no cards remaining.
- You are eliminated when you have no STAR CHIPS remaining or when you are the only person remaining on the field (i.e. you're the only person who has Cards). You can't RPS with yourself after all.
- Game phases update sporadically. Very sporadically.
- Fake commands can be used, whether it's by intentionally not bold'ing or just doing something like ##Seduce: <Player> (note that this command may or may not be in this game).
- Quoting anything I give you via PM is allowed, though I generally encourage keeping certain PMs hidden for posterity.
- Donating / trading STAR CHIPS and Cards are to be done via PM. A 2-PM system will be the governing driving force behind this; both PMs must be "identical". Do not use "I" and instead use your display name. See the example below.
- Alliances can be formed with other players, but you're on your own for this; I'm not helping you organize.
- I encourage the PMs sent be marked as clearly as possible because I'm expecting clutters.
- Individual Card count will be hidden. Total Card and STAR CHIP count will not.
- Baity can be challenged! However keep in mind the potential consequences of doing this. For the curious, assume that I can constantly pull out cards from the bag.
- You are allowed 1 (one) Bah! post when you get eliminated.
- Game setup isn't balanced; as is expected of a challenge. That's the fun of it, see?
Example Challenge and Accept strings:
##Challenge: Suikama, 1
##Accept: huh what
Example trading PM that I should receive from both players partaking in the trade:
Baity:
1 STAR CHIP
Paper x2
TMS:
Rock
Fortunately for you, I'm not grammar / convention tight when it comes to this but there are limits to what I can comprehend.
Roleplaying the role you signed up as is encouraged. In fact, I think for some people it's
essential to :V
