Totaku, could you please upload the Patchouli Crawl Run save file to Mediafire? Rapidshare doesn't work for me. Thank you.

Sorry about that, I was busy, but here's the media fire link now that Media fire is working.

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?32dzzymu2yy

Should I update it so that it includes both the Suika and Patchouli file in the same one?

No, it's fine as it is, unless someone else is having trouble with Rapidshare. Thank you.

Patchouli Crawl Run, go.

Totaku has left Patchouli overloaded. This is not a good thing, as she would be unable to go up stairs and moves slower. In fact, it may very well get you killed. Avoid this at all costs.

After dropping some rotting meat, I reduce the load to encumbered and head back up to Lair 1, to deposit some unused items.

Heading back down, into Lair 10.

Accidentally went down a trapdoor. I didn't realise I was on Lair 9 at that time, and thought it would get me down faster. Ah well.

Food is good, but a meatshield is more important at this time.

Got a pair of orcish boots. We don't have any boots, so this is a good thing. Also, amusingly enough, for all the rings we have found, we do not have a single amulet.

Why hello there.

Expecting a fight, and my health bar only slightly more than half full, I don a ring of fire and flee behind my zombie before resting.

Heading back I found my zombie intact, and no traces of the fight. The mysterious missing enemy (TM) strikes again!

Aaaaand we've cleared the Lair.

At this point I must point out that Conjurations and Fire magic should be turned off, and stay that way. They are at a decent level already, and spellcasting would be a much better skill to train since it raises the chance of casting all spells and improves MP.

We're finally out of the Lair, and back into this cozy dungeon full of things that want to kill us.

Patchouli comes across a dusty old bookstore. This bookstore is filled with expensive tomes.

Book of Power seems useful, but otherwise the bookstore doesn't have much for us to use.

The next few turns pass uneventfully, until...

I wish for a book, and...

My wish came true!

I also picked up a staff next to the scroll. We don't have a scroll of identify on us, but it seems to be a staff of necromancy. (When casting Animate Dead, Crawl shows an extra line saying 'You feel a surge of power'. This is not present when the staff is not being wielded.)

Just after writing that, I cast a spell.

Close enough.

Found a potion of mutation and a scroll of identify. Nothing too notable.

I headed down the next floor. After killing a two headed ogre and a zombie, I head upwards.

And find myself ambushed.

I teleport, and find myself in a room with two bees. I dispatch them easily enough, but am running low on magic. Then a mottled dragon bursts through the door... I teleport, but not before it breathes on me. Many scrolls were lost trying to put out that fire.

Slowly, I work my way back and kill several enemies, including a cyclops. But I eventually find myself running low on mana, and still under attack- This time, by an invisible assailant.

I use several potions, but past our only potion of heal wounds, they are useless. I then use a scroll of fear, which amusingly says 'Nothing appears to happen'. This stops the attacks, however, at least for a time.

We receive a gift!

Got another scroll of aquirement! I use it promptly, since the mottled dragon is just next door.

I finally escape this floor, going up.

And thus I end this save at 36373 turns. A little too high, yes, but I did not wish to leave the next player with the task of having to deal with a horde of strong enemies.

We are not in immediate danger, but going down is very much dangerous. Remember to use your wands if you get stuck.

My apologies. My Internet died out near the end of my run, and in getting it back up it slipped my mind to upload the save file.

Also, I would add that it might be a good idea to clear out the next floor, since those hordes were guarding some loot.

The Suika files in the save file that Sylon gave me are a slight bit non-existent.  Who has them?

And I think for now on, Patch and Suika should be kept in the same file.

I went head and took Affinity's file and uploaded it to Mediafire.

From there, you can download it, get Suika's files and place them in a new folder.

And ouch, Ramus, that was horrible luck.  But I think it was quite possible to handle the Big Kobolds though, why did you teleport there?

Due to low HP (9 total) and low accuracy (-1, +3 flail), I wanted to get out.

http://rapidshare.com/files/229207003/Suika_Patch.7z.html

If you don't have 7zip, go get it now.  I just reduced that file size down to 7% of what its full size was.  And yes, I can't pronounce SuKIa's name right.

Finally, for anyone who was confused there as to why I teleported, I was down to 9 HP, poisoned (STUPID FLAIL) and glowing with magical energy (which could be mean death at any moment) and continually missing the enemies (STUPID -1, +3 FLAIL) so I wanted to get out, least to say.

One last thing, I have both Suika and Patch together in their with the title and player image files, DON'T SEPARATE THEM.

Well I don't have much of a thing to say here except.... Sylon why did you decide to go deeper into the dugeon? We should of gone into the snake pits or Swamp.

We have poison resistant equipment and we should of gone up, regardless.. my plan was, being my gusty self, to go down and face the terrors on floor 13th floor before going to the Lair. At least that's what I was planning.

It began smoothly...

I bought some scrolls of identify and and scrolls of remover curse from the nearby store.

Then I went down and after facing a few killer bees I ran into this thing...

Meet the moltted dragon, a terrible little dragon with nasty flames that once they make contact with you, can stick to you and engulf you in flames while buring your scrolls. Which is exactly what it did to Patchouli as soon as it found her
I had to dump my scrolls quickly and then combat the beast by cooling it down with a bolt of ice. The beast was eleminated, but I lost some scrolls in the process...

I then combated a cyclops and a few more bees which then I met up with this thing...

A slime creature...

This thing is alot faster compared to other ooze creatures and usually roams in groups. However this creature was alone, and was easily taken out.

But what truely did me in though was something Patchy could not see....

A creature that remained hidden in the shadows as it continously attacks her she was cornered by an ugly thing. She blinked to escape but in the end it would all go to waste when the unknown creature struck the final blow...

Alas, poor Patchouli, we knew her well, she fought valiently though the dungeon only to be beaten by something she couldn't see....

Perhaps next time...

My advice.... Let's just go to the Lair and go through the swamp and snake pit....period. We have resitant equipment so let's go.

Because Ramus's file failed hard when I uploaded it to play it. I had to use Sylon's file. So I'll be putting Sylon and Affinity's file together to make a new link for you to play a workable verison.

Here's the link:
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?qntuzhijzgj

Now as for your new ghostly threat? Well how about I add a hell raven I've been working on for a while....

She should make your life misriable especially if you meet her in the abyss hehehe..

OK Thomas, it's your go!

Also sign my up again Anathe!

I was heading for the Hive, actually, unless I missed it already. The bees in there are generally weak, but come in swarms. Which we can handle easily.

The Snake Pit might work, but don't go to the seventh floor yet. You will die.

We don't have any equipment that resists corrosion. Our equipment will be corroded if we go into the slime pit. In addition, considering we're still having trouble with mottled dragons, the Royal Jelly/Slime will kill us before we can so much as blink.
