Sorry if I'm a bit late to the party. I'm looking for a relatively obscure doujin that you might be able to buy from Comiket, or failing that, just an online vendor.
I'm looking for you to help me buy an untranslated and pretty obscure long doujinshi about the secret sealing club. It's called Utsutsu no Yume (NOT Yumeutsutsu...that's different), and supposedly it's a 600 page masterpiece full of feels. The problem is that it's only available for ripoff prices overseas (upwards of $150). Would you now be able to purchase it for a much more reasonable price and send it to a particular address that I'll PM? A link to more info about the book can be found at https://www.reddit.com/r/touhou/comments/5qwi8t/utsutsu_no_yume_someone_care_to_share/. I'll offer payment as soon as you confirm you can send it to the address I list.
Thanks in advance.
I'm not N-Forza (obviously), but I am friends with the circle that published this doujin so I'll try and answer a few questions until he gets back from comiket.
Basically the physical version of this novel isn't in print anymore, and the circle don't plan to reprint it again because it's so big (scary printing costs). But the good news is, there is an ebook version available,
which you can buy on melonbooks for around 3,000 yen. (Despite it being an ebook, you still need to buy a piece of card containing the download code. No I don't get why either.) It's DRM free afaik.
Based on the reddit thread, it sounds like you guys want to translate it? That's really cool, it's a great novel. But if you can, ask the writer, Hitohira, for permission first. He's a cool guy so he'll almost certainly be okay with it, but if he sees someone translating his novel without asking first, he might get a bit sad, and he's my friend so... yeah lol it's just a politeness thing. You can email him at allenemy [at] hotmail [dot] co [dot] jp, or just send him a message via twitter (@allenemy).
