You try to turn into a cat. Expectedly, You turn into HUMAN CHEN and KITTY CHEN. You try to summon THE ROC and Yumigami at the same time, but the strain makes your head hurt. You should probably only summon one at a time.

You then ask Patchouli about accompanying you into the basement. "Hmm? Well, If shes awake, I could... It'd be a bit much to wake her up."

You merge back into CHEN. You also summon Yumigami.

Patchouli returns in a bit and nods. "Shes awake, You should be able to go down to the basement, if you want. Oh, And the contract should be fixed now." Patchouli gives you back the broken sword, now with a fixed contract.

Seperation swoops in before you leave. "Hey! Hey! I've got a question for you two, Where do all the hip fairies hang out around here? I figure if I'm stuck in here for a while, I might as well make some friends."

"Huh, Well that happens to be conve- Hey! Wait up a moment!" Seperation stops you, before fetching the Knife Hilt her knife was on. "Here, Use this, You're a familiar user right? Just use it like a contract Item and I'll be able to come out and help you." Seperation then heads off for the lake.

You head to the basement with Yumigami. The feeling from before is gone, You head down.

There is a very ominous door to the basement. You feel like you'd be unable to turn back after heading in.

This is silly though, since it is just Flandre's Room. You head inside.

FLANDRE SCARLET is in the room, sitting on her Bed.

Flandre nods slowly, before you decide to show off your new trick. Its still kinda dizzying.

"Oh? I can do that too."

Flandre then splits into two different Flandre, Atleast, to the eye. You actually kind of recognize this technique. Its a sect of Black Magic that is devoted to moving between two places at a high rate, so that as far as the world is concerned, you're cloned.

You have to agree, besides, it was adorable.

You glance about the room. To say its plain would be an understatement, it seems to have a bed and dresser, and a lot of free room. Most of this appears to be taken up by some books Flandre has around.

"Stories." Flandre smiles dimly. "Wonderful stories of different magics, of different myths. Entire worlds within pages. Patchouli doesn't have many of them in the library off hand, but quite a few have been falling into Kourindou lately. See? That one over there has an odd cover."

You certainly notice a few seem out of place, compared to the tomes Patchouli has.

You ask if you can take a look at a few of her books and she allows. You take a look at them. They're definitely exactly as she said, Fiction. The authors vary a lot, though you suspect that is probably due to her limited range of choices.

You examine Flandre. As with he sister, she of course looks like a child. You don't suspect she'll grow up for a while, unless she does something herself to change that. She is currently wearing what appears to be a Red shirt and a skirt. Her shirt seems to be some kind of thicker material than cotton, and both appear to be rather long and baggy. You suspect its because it gets cold down here at night, what with the heating probably messed up.

You ask Flandre if shes hungry, she shakes her head. "Not really, I don't need to eat much lately. I guess its because I don't really do much other than Read and Sleep."

Flandre looks confused. "Of course I can't go out in the sun. Its not like its a matter of power... I could probably leave at night, but everyone is asleep then. So I haven't seen anyone else, because the mansion is considered abandoned. Besides, Patchy says its probably for the best until outside gets a bit better."

"It is not immediately lethal, but it drains us pretty well. Full exposure could cause either of us to just collapse while the sun does it's work. Umbrella did tend to help us, but the one sister used was destroyed during the fight, and Patchy hasn't had time to get a new one."
