> Oh, hey now, there's an easy plot token.
> "What's that Seperation Knife worth?"
You think you may just know a good use for that knife... You ask what its worth.
"The knife? Its worth around 5 or so CREDITS, being apparently magical and pretty strong. Kind of a ripoff if you ask me, given the uses for a knife like that, but hey, boss' prices."
> What the fuck is this shit?! Where's How to Claim Doc and Win by Alice Margatroid?
You figure it was probably bought out. Or well, never written.
Don't you mean Amaterasu instead of Ameter?
> "Excuse me, but does the band have any abilities?" (like lengething day time or summoning the sun goddess herself)
> The knife and mirror look like just the things to complete two of our quests. It might be a bit expensive though. And we could always Nyamune as a mirror, assuming Nyamune has a reflective surface.
> "Also, is there anything special about the towel? One of my late master's books said they were omnifunctional, but that story got quite absurd at times.... Something about hitchiking...."
>That is the joke. A, S, and U off from being that kind of headband.
"Nope. Its pretty useless actually."
Nyamune is reflective, You're not sure if you could get a good view while trying to cut your hair though... And its a pretty heavy sword, it'll be tough to keep it steady one-handed.
"Its apparently a really really good towel. That is... about everything, really."
You recall Kourindou's CREDIT system. Its generally a system that obviously favors Kourin, but is overall of good use. A CREDIT is a sort of in-store currency, you don't physically own it, but its on record here. You typically get CREDITS from trading in items, or getting it from other people's accounts via gift. You could theoritically use this system to just trade through items in stock here- But of course, catches come up. For one, Used items tend to be worth less than Newer ones. While the Seperation Knife is worth 5 credits unused, once used its pretty much either going to break or become a normal knife. This'll put it down to one or no credit worth. You think he came up with this a year or two ago, its hard to tell.
That said, you ask Tokiko to take a check at your current Credit account.
"You currently have...30 Credits? Wow. I've never seen you here often, didn't think you traded this much in."
Neither did you. Suspicious, but useful.
