Okay, I've rolled up a setting. It's a Dark Fantasy setting

Okay, you (The maids) are the servants of a rather powerful family of Kitsune. They were part of a group of sorcerors tasked with protecting the kingdom during the war that is currently going on. Unfortunately, the ritual they were performing to summon a demon to use against the opposing army went horribly wrong, and they were slaughtered by it, along with most of the maid staff. You are the survivors. Though you have been traumatized by the incident, you must continue to serve their 8-year old daughter.

Special details: Roll 3 special qualities, 1 Complex/Trauma (Can be either physical or mental)

If this goes well, I may try to find a timeslot for it.

The runaway princess of a adjacent country, Lyna ran away due to the stress of her lifestyle, which involves being very refined. Something which she is terrible at and due to that, her wrists are full of cuts, her attempts in killing herself.
However, being magically powerful, she always recover from the incident with just a scar on her wrists, much to her despair... as a direct consequence of that she has found inflicting pain on others as well as herself as enjoyable, making her a little twisted. Still, she gets quite emotional at times...
Joined Kitsune Tower to look after her good friend, Sakurai... but more than not it is to while away time... does randomly disappear from the house from time to time.

Felice, when she was born, contracted a serious, fatal disease. Ever since she was little, she had been forced to take medicine to prolong her death. However, this medicine was very costly. Her parents were forced into debts upon debts to pay for the medicine. Truely regretting her life, she soon developed skills that she thought would help her family. Unfortunately, these skills were lockpicking and stealing. The parents tried to ignore where she got these expensive things that they couldn't possibly afford from, but eventually the police caught onto the tricks. She is now wanted for the theft of several priceless artifacts. This forced her parents to abandon their child at last - after paying for food, medicine, anything to keep them together, the Parents could no longer take any more, and at the young age of 8, she was an outlaw. Still Naive and innocent despite this, she has been seeking aid from the only friend who would still keep in contact with her. This friend, who was rich, agreed to keep her at the Mansion. Under the condition ... that she continues to work for the good of the mansion. Only when kept in good favor will the Mistress continue to provide her Medicine.

Backstory:
Naire is a member of the family of the vampires that the Kitsune Family was friends with. As a child, she liked to manipulate and deceive everyone in their family with her tears so they could acceed to her childish demands. Despite being young, her life as a vampire was a real topsy-turvy, given that vampires were now looked down in the world. At the year of twelve, she had to fight a man who was a vampire hunter all by herself. This was a pyrrhic victory for her mind, because she was badly hurt (and the scars on her chest bring livid memories to her) and she swore to never marry. This brought an interesting picture: Drawing women and, very often, yuri scenes. A year later, while she was under cover to pass through humans, Naire got into an incident that brought guilty charges on her and was locked down, despite being a child, which scarred her for life when she hears lies upon her. 6 months later, she came back, only to find that her family was now missing and she had to move to the Kitsune Tower.

I'd rather wait another session or two before adding another character, since Tsubame and Riko technically aren't even part of the staff yet at this point, but a seventh maid could be added eventually.

I am fine actually.. if it was to fall within normal waking hours..

being up 4-5 days till 1-2am on 6 hrs of sleep when my regular hours are 8 is kinda jarring..

@Xan: Depending on the backdrop Nanaya can be an ally or an enemy, it all depends on what the roots of the maid are, so be flexible.

I am a natural yandere, have you forgotten that? =P
