Well because MTG is back, we should get these fillers over so MTG can announce the continuation of the plot.

Jan-san! Where art thou!

I seem to have flunked out of college due to doing too little, too late.

Please wait warmly until ready (or start yourself; I have no idea what getting online will entail in the near future, only that I'll manage somehow).

i was working on a giant wall of text earlier and since i'm on my bed my mouse was next to my knee. I leaned over to get something off my desk and i closed the window losing all the 2 hour worked on text story. so FUCK IT! for now -_- i need a drink and a dam good game. This morning REALLY REALLY sucked. I've been somewhat grumpy all morning and now i lost all my hard worked story. today sucks.

Hey Jan-san you didn't post anything much on day 3 yet? Because we still have our magic training that we promised ourselves =/.

Finally... That took way too long to write for a simple RP post.  Hopefully the Day 3 filler won't take nearly as long.

Why do I have a bad feeling about you saying, "Interesting plot stuff"

Edit: Also, I just finished up getting my character caught up to the main time of the story, I'll change any minor details if anyone needs it to be so, like the time the last part of my last post happens.

I'm not going to say yet, but it has the potential to turn out badly, in a very very bad way,
I really don't know where I'm going with this, but then thats how alot of things go for me.

Oh right character development...

Also aren't RAI forces sweeping the city or something, just making sure before I plug Shin and his gang in Day 4 events...or something. I dunno.

Ok, done with post. Hopefully this one won't piss people off.

As you can see, guns were not involved. They may be eventually, but not for a bit.

Anyways, no killing, maiming, or harming.

I hereby object to how you handled the breaking of the fourth wall. To break it in such a manner...to have such disrespect for the narrator. The narrator would at least have some retribution.

The narrator can't be perceived normally.

Jalal is insane. Eirin is stoned. What's your excuse?

Edit: Also, Jalal got called out on it when Eirin could not perceive the narrator.

well, I got one excuse to use, actually two,

First, the 4th wall here is about as weak as the one in Metal Gear Solid, and second, since it's already been broken, there was a gaping hole,

Also that neck grab thing that happened cause some weird brain damage that made it possible

If people are still annoied by my poor attempt at breaking (or should I just say looking through) the 4th wall, I'll change it.

An early heads-up for everyone.

We'll be migrating to the Gensokyo Online forum soon. Maybe sometime within this week or next week. I will let you know when it happens and there'll be a link to it as well.

Anyone believe there'll be any problems?

I personally think it'll be better for us, especially as we'll have more freedom to create threads for glossaries, guides, etc. At the moment we're rather limited. Also, I think it's about time we stop annoying the moderators XD. This way they can have the games forum to themselves again ^^.

What do you think?

@Anthony

How does one measure the strength of the fourth wall anyways?

My problem was not the breaking in and of itself. It's how it was handled. A "Yeah yeah" sort of a thing. I sure the narrator would react as if he couldn't even conceive of being noticed, but then again, not everyone is alike. I suppose another narrator could step in and teach Anthony some respect.

I would think that those present would notice something was wrong. After all, hearing voices that no one else does is generally a sign that something is wrong in a dangerous way.

I say leave that post standing.

Jalal and I have something to say. (It may be hours before I actually say it though)

@Hakutaku Erebus

Yes, they were. This sweep is to find any unusual activity. Should any RAI find suspicious activity, they are expected to call for backup. Though, it could be a better idea to not call. That is up to the individual at this point.

I see, well, I guess this could turn out for something funny, and I guess we need to make a system of strength of a 4th wall sometime soon.

Just one RPG isn't enough to warrant whole forum. While that would free up space for glossary threads and the like, I simply don't see how much more could be added, maybe two threads. If the story was updating every hour, it could sustain a forum. As it is, I don't think so.

I remember you had a thread on the old forum about an RPG forum. That one had several RPGs planned for it if I remember correctly.

MTG - Been waiting for that for awhile now. Although I still don't have any characters ready yet (well there's one but she's not really that refined of a character yet). As for problems; aside from the usual problems associated with RPs, the migration should go over okay.

I think it's for the best that we take this to a forum dedicated to RP, UGW was more designed for Text games instead of the inital roleplay (although now it is, but that's probably because we're the only ones doing that here).

Madness - Alright, I thought so. I'm not sure if the others (excluding Etch, due to Marx's Heel Face Turn*) will post again, but I'll make the best with what I have; a good luck charm and an oni with Boobs of Steel**.

*1 and 2- TVTropes article, look them up if you want. Too lazy/sick to hot link them myself.

Hey madness, you made a contradiction in the time stamps for your post, since Anthony didn't touch the 4th wall until a decent amount of time after 4:20 pm, also, I'll stay away from the 4th wall for now, until I earn the proper respect for that.
