Oh, and I fail much harder at that than I do at Phantasmagoria. At least I can get far on PoFV Lunatic, and I sometimes gets far in PoDD Hard.

I've been trying this myself as well lately, still no luck. It doesn't help that in 50% of my attempts I don't even reach Remilia because I always try to capture Eternal Meek, which most of the time ends with a clipdeath.
Managed to almost capture Scarlet Meister unfocused though, guess that's something. :V

Also I thought that that Byakuren thing was common knowledge as well. :V
Although I don't do that risky as hell way Phar circled her. The attack is actually pretty static, you can dodge it the same way everytime.

Her only BS spell is really her last, this thing is fucking impossible. The rest are pretty doable seeing as I have captured them all several times.
The stage gives you like 6 bombs to work with, so a no death run is I think is not impossible.
I do need at least 3 bombs for her final though...

Captured VoWG on Hard for the first time. And this is after not even getting this far in the level since I beat it in story mode a week ago. I guess it helps that the amulets don't overlap until near the end - otherwise it plays just like its Normal counterpart (only faster).

MoF Stage 3 Hard perfected, after God knows how many tries (I'm surprisingly inconsistent on midboss Nitori). Had to make a few modifications to my "sweetspot height" approach for Nitori's last spell, as well as resigning to a "don't move much" attitude there, but at least I have a reason to take a quick break from Touhou now.

For the last wave of enemies for UFO Stage 5, use ReimuB. Start from the top-center (or a bit to the side if you so wish), focus, shoot and move down. After destroying exactly 3 orbs on one side, stop shooting, unfocus and move down partly close to the bottom.

Unfortunately, nothing new came up with other shot types at this point. The best ones are probably AM's and yukarin's (which I have copied for quite some time now) if I'm not mistaken.

"Catwalk" is still difficult no matter what way you try to approach it, but some methods of approaching this are definitely better than others. However, I do recall that I had a much greater chance for suvival when I moved a bit to the side. If you can get a screenshot uploaded of all the rings out (or quite a number of them) then I can show you where to dodge, and how much "attention" you should be giving each ring. Do PM please so I don't lose track of it.

Some experiments in Mystical Chain have shown me that I can take out Remi and Flan in about 4-5 minutes optimally, and a "method" of doing "Forbidden P" in one go. Of course, I think that it's an abuse.

By the way, I feel I should point this out after deciding to browse the replay lists.

My computer hates this game. It kept slowing down at random.
I fail at controlling the orb against bosses. I survived every single one of Sariel's laser spams (dodged twice and bombed once) but I got killed by the orb TWO times. WTF.

I'm using Anex86. The problem really is my computer. It started slowing down on some programs recently (mostly IE). I'll have to clean up the hard drive a bit.

I just attempted a pacifist run of Mugetsu and Gengetu for the lulz and actually made it all the way to Gengetu Rape Time before game-overing!

If I hadn't died twice with bombs in stock and stopped making stupid mistakes I might have actually have pulled this of.

Just did it again. Made it a great deal through GRT. If I had one more life (which I wasted) I would have done it.

Powered through UNL Arcade mode with Utsuho again. Her 5 and 6 C are completely ridiculous (though it's interesting to note that Patchy's fireball is actually stronger than Utsuho's 5C, and may be the strongest attack in the game in terms of piercing).

In this run of LLS, three highlights:

I capture the stage 4 midboss on max rank, but it's a hollow victory because the gaps were huge. How quickly does rank increase in this game, because the last time I died was to a random enemy halfway through stage 3. :\

I beat stage 5 Yuka one death no bombs. DAMN that last phase, was ZUN seriously expecting you to squeeze into those gaps?

I was about two dodges away from capturing Yuka's final phase.

Blurgh. EoSD Lunatic run with 4 lives remaining. I entered stage 6 with seven lives and then died twice in succession with full bombs in stock. I will never fucking forgive myself for that.

I captured the books, Emerald Megalith, and Eternal Meek though, which is nice. And I also got walled by The World while using the misdirection trick. Because apparently that's possible.

OMGOMGOMG CAPTURED DELUSION OF ENLIGHTENMENT WHAT
and I found out a way to easily do Karmic Punishment (not the safespot) but it involves never being under Youmu herself so it always turns out as timeouts :v
