Okay guys check it out, I came up with a better representation for myself

I couldn't really do the girl thing with "man" in my name

So, BEHOLD MY TRUE FORM

STUFFMAGAN

I should still be inserted into a random stage 1 formation as an ordinary enemy. Make sure there is absolutely no explanation as to why I am there.

So, the moving parts of the sprite are hair, sleeves, and skirt. Right now, they're all moving in sync with each other and there ends up being a noticeable pause when everything stops moving at once. But maybe if you stagger their animations so they all begin at different times, it would become more fluid? I'm not 100% sure it wouldn't look weird, but its an idea. That does mean that there would always be at least 2 of the 3 parts in motion animation in any given frame.

Something like this? I made the hair move 3 frames earlier and the sleeves 2 frames earlier.

After like 7 tries, I got this for the new Zengar sprite. The first few tries I made the clothes pure black, but then that made it hard to apply the shadows. Since Marisa wears black I decided to use the lightest shade of black she had and painted all of Zengar's clothes with that shade. Then the shades were a lot easier.

NOTE: Part of Zengar's hat and shoes blend in with the MotK background

Yeah I know, I had a lot of trouble with the clothes I forgot to fix everything else. And the gray thing is the pants, the shoes are invisible because of the background
