The trip continues peacefully and monotonously, passing through little nowhere towns in Indiana one by one. The afternoon wears on a bit, and you realize that you're probably not going to get anywhere near your goal before the sun goes down. You can try to find a place to stay early in the afternoon and give yourself plenty of time to rest and screw around. Or you can push on until later and hope for the best. Worse comes to worst, you can sleep in the car, but that is guaranteed to be unpleasant.
