Things seem to be going well so far, or I'm just not getting as many questions as previous years.

Please remember to send your tracking information to me, Santa Hakurei, but do NOT post in this thread when you ship. We have many posters with ridiculous knowledge of shipping times and can usually figure out partners based just on that.

Since this has come up in a few questions: if you are planning on sending food or drink to your partner, especially internationally, PLEASE check the customs policy on sending food for BOTH of the countries. If a package is in violation for a food guideline it is usually destroyed rather than returned, and we don't want that to happen to anyone's present. Candy and other pre-packaged food is usually OK, but fresh or home-baked goods can be iffy. Alcohol may be against the shipping policy of some shippers. When in doubt, research and check!

Good advice. Last year for example, I had double-triple checked rules, regulations and such before sending a Lock Picking set to Vic :V I even had added a letter to 'Dear Customs', just in case.

Best is to simply look at the customs of your own country. Or just call them if they have a phone number listed for inquiries.

and shipping said it could take anywhere between now and the END OF TIME. Was notified yesterday that the item had been sent out and would arrive more than a week before the final shipping day. Hurrah!

This is a good reminder. Iceland has some of the strictest food and alcohol import policies in Europe. Customs will enjoy any homemade food or booze you send rather than me, whoever you are.

Also, shopping done. Payday is Friday. So it looks like I ship out Monday at the latest.

Apologies for the late notification, but I haven't been properly home for awhile. Apparently a large box had been waiting for me since the 22nd. Either my Secret Santa is quite the go-getter or knows my interests quite well. Possibly both.
The package came from Minnesota, but it's obviously been ordered online and shipped from there. Based on the company's packaging I'm pretty sure of what I can expect to be doing over the holidays. Two participants come to mind, but I'll hold off until the proper unpacking. Cheers to you, Secret Santa.
