Unsubscribe from /thread/

I know a variation of this question was asked before, but it was too broad-scoped. Sure, you can stop receiving notifications from a whole board, but is there a way to unsubscribe from an individual thread?

If not, is it feasible to install an SMF plugin for that function?

Should be under Profile > Modify Profile > Notifications > Current Topic Notifications.

Because both Topics and Boards are listed as header there.

EDIT: Apparently that's not it. Nothing is listed as notifying me, and yet it's still showing up under "Replies". I guess my question was a bit poorly-worded.
